The 40-minute dialogue covered various topics, including the economy, Trump's comments on her racial identity, and her evolved positions on key issues.

Donald Trump calls Kamala Harris 'lightweight', mocks her CNN interview

Addressing MAGA supporters in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, on Friday, August 30, Donald Trump called Kamala Harris a "lightweight".

"What they’ve done to our country is incredible. What is Kamala who’s a total lightweight? Did you see her on television last night?"

He posed a question, "This is who's going to be president? I don't think so."

"Sitting propped up at a desk with this guy this, uh, Tampon Tim," he jabbed to laughs. "And it's the first interview she's done in like — nobody's ever seen anything like it."

Trump persisted in criticizing Harris, labeling her "too weak to do an interview one-on-one" with the "soft" Dana Bash, according to Raw Story.

"I know Dana she's always, you know, nasty," he said. "She was so nice to the Democrats. It's much easier to be a Democrat. But we don't agree with their policies because their policies will destroy our nation. So we can't do that."

He revisited the interview, labeling it as "weak" from CNN's perspective.

"I think CNN should be ashamed of themselves," he said.

Trump concluded if he had sat down with Bash instead of Harris and Walz, he would have been asked critical questions.

"If that were me up there: 'Sir, I heard you want the death penalty for drug dealers - why?' Well, you know, I'd like to end the drug epidemic if that's ok," he said.

Internet reacts to Donald Trump's critique of Kamala Harris' CNN interview

As soon as MediaITE published the news on its platform, readers started reacting to it.

A reader put foward the reason for Trump's criticism saying, "Because Harris and Walz did a good job, and for about an hour, the attention was on someone other than Trump."

Another added, "Trump sounds scared. And weak. And old. And demented. Because he’s all of the above."

The third commentator wrote, "It's time to ship angry old man Trump off to the glue factory."

"Trump knows the interview went well and he's furious," one said.

A person mocked Trump saying, "Trump said nobody knows what Kamala's last name is. Sounds like the dementia is really accelerating."

Other chimed in, "He's not a man. Just an overgrown child."
