Trump urges Israel to 'defeat' Harris in controversial remarks, Internet says he's 'oozing' desperation
WASHINGTON, DC: Former president Donald Trump stated that Israel must somehow ensure that Vice President Kamala Harris is defeated in the upcoming November election.
Trump spoke at the Israeli-American Council in Washington, DC, on Thursday, September 19. The council has been funded by Miriam Adelson and her late husband, casino magnate Sheldon Adelson.

Donald Trump urges Israel to 'defeat' Kamala Harris in upcoming election
During the event, Donald Trump expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of support from Jewish voters despite relocating the US embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and his efforts on the Abraham Accords, which established normalized relations between Israel and several Muslim-majority countries, MediaITE reported.
He also said the upcoming November presidential election “is the most important election in the history of Israel.” In a strange turn of events, he also urged Israel to "defeat" Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.
“Now, we’re going to defeat Kamala Harris. You have to defeat Kamala Harris. More than any other people on Earth, Israel, I believe, has to defeat her. You know that? And I’ve never said this before," Trump remarked.
He continued, "And I’m thinking, Miriam, more than any people on Earth, Israel has to defeat her. I really believe that. It’s a disaster for Israel, and you know why.”
Since the Hamas October 7 attacks last year, the Biden-Harris administration has consistently supplied weapons to Israel as it continues its military campaign in Gaza, even circumventing Congress on two occasions to facilitate arms transfers.
This unwavering support has caused discontent among some Democrats, who have labeled Israel's retaliation attacks in Gaza as war crimes. Recently, Senator Bernie Sanders announced his intention to propose resolutions to halt $20 billion in arms sales to Israel.
