Trump’s last four words to Pam Bondi day before he fired her from post of attorney general
WASHINGTON, D.C.: President Donald Trump’s last four words to former Attorney General Pam Bondi have been revealed. The president had reportedly told her “I think it’s time,” just a day before her firing on Thursday, April 2, as the two took a ride together from the White House to the Supreme Court on Wednesday.
Bondi allegedly requested Trump to let her keep her job until the summer, but Trump refused it, The New York Post reported citing The Wall Street Journal.
Trump fired Bondi because of several reasons
The firing reportedly happened not because of a single reason but “a steady drip of frustrations,” including the handling of the Epstein files and the negative news coverage of the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Though Bondi got to know about her firing on Wednesday morning, she did not leave the White House and was also present when Trump addressed the nation in the night regarding the Iran war.
Trump makes Todd Blanche interim AG
On Thursday, Trump took to Truth Social to give update about Bondi’s future as he noted, “We love Pam, and she will be transitioning to a much-needed and important new job in the private sector, to be announced at a date in the near future, and our Deputy Attorney General, and a very talented and respected Legal Mind, Todd Blanche, will step in to serve as Acting Attorney General.”

It has been said that Blanche may get promoted as AG but another possible candidate to take over the post is Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin.
Meanwhile, Bondi also responded to her termination in an X post. She wrote, “Leading President Trump’s historic and highly successful efforts to make America safer and more secure has been the honor of a lifetime, and easily the most consequential first year of the Department of Justice in American history.”
Over the next month I will be working tirelessly to transition the office of Attorney General to the amazing Todd Blanche before moving to an important private sector role I am thrilled about, and where I will continue fighting for President Trump and this Administration.…

“I remain eternally grateful for the trust that President Trump placed in me to Make America Safe Again,” she added.
Bondi's firing came after Kristi Noem's termination
Bondi became the second official to get fired under the Trump administration following Kristi Noem’s firing as Homeland Security Secretary earlier this month.
“The current Secretary, Kristi Noem, who has served us well, and has had numerous and spectacular results (especially on the Border!), will be moving to be Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas, our new Security Initiative in the Western Hemisphere we are announcing on Saturday in Doral, Florida. I thank Kristi for her service at ‘Homeland,’” Trump said in a Truth Social post.
