WASHINGTON, DC: A parody of 'Yakko's World', a song from the Warner Bros cartoon show 'Animaniacs', which features President Donald Trump, has recently gone viral on social media.

Several clips of the 78-year-old Commander-in-Chief have been edited and put together to make him say the names of almost all the nations in the world, which make up the lyrics of the song.

Originally airing in the second episode of the 'Animaniacs' series in 1993, it was the first song written for the show by Randy Rogel. The tune to which the names of the countries are set is 'Jarabe Tapatio', better known as the 'Mexican Hat Dance' tune.

Rogel reportedly wrote a new updated verse later that included many countries that were skipped or which did not exist back when the original song was written.

Donald Trump's 'Tarrif Song' comes amid chaos caused by his massive tariffs

The video comes at a time when global trade markets are feeling the impact of sweeping tariffs announced by President Donald Trump on April 2, which he dubbed "Liberation Day."

Trump signed an executive order announcing a blanket tariff of 10% on approximately 90 nations that day, which bizarrely included islands near Antarctica, which is known to be uninhabited.

He also included additional tariffs on selected nations based on their trade deficits with the United States but labeled them as "reciprocal tariffs."

The effects of the tariffs have been brutal on the stock market, making shares plunge the sharpest since the 2020 pandemic. More than $6.6 trillion was evaporated from the market within two days.

The president announced on Wednesday, April 9, that the new tariff rates on imports from most US trade partners would be dropped to 10% for 90 days to allow trade negotiations, reported CNBC.

However, he engaged in a trade war with China, increasing their tariff to 125%. Earlier on the same day, China had responded to Trump's initial tariff announcement by placing 84% tariffs on US imports.
