WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump’s firebrand aide, Natalie Harp, has gotten herself a new nickname from her rivals after making herself an indispensable part of the president’s inner circle.

Harp, 34, who has been dubbed as “unfireable” among the close aides of Trump, has reportedly made quite a few rivals with her dedication towards the Republican leader.

However, her devotion has also gained a new nickname - "Fatal Attraction" - among her competitors.

Natalie Harp makes herself indispensable in Donald Trump's inner circle

According to reports, Harp has made herself indispensable in the president’s inner circle. Dubbed as the ‘Human Printer’ for her propensity to print out news clips for the president, Harp has been working for Trump since 2022.

As she has installed herself in Trump’s inner circle, it was her temerity that has also made her “unfireable.” Though she has been rendered safe from being fired, she has received criticism from her peers who compared her with the fictional psychotic character of Alex Forrest from the film ‘Fatal Attraction’.

In the upcoming book, ‘Revenge: The Inside Story of Trump's Return to Power’, releasing on March 18, Axios reporter and author Alex Isenstadt explored how Harp installed herself in Trump’s trusted circle. In order to do so, the Liberty University alum has also diluted boundaries, which once even led to an awkward meeting with Melania Trump

In an excerpt obtained by Daily Mail, the author wrote, “Harp didn't do well with boundaries,” before adding, “There was the time when a surprised Melania Trump stumbled upon Harp late at night in Trump's private quarters at Mar-a-Lago, an area that was typically off-limits to those outside Trump's family.”

Isenstadt explained, “Harp was there to deliver Trump some documents and didn't want to wait until the morning to give them to him.”

The Axios reporter further recalled another bold incident when Harp chased behind Trump - by foot - during a golf outing in Aberdeen, Scotland.

The media personality is responsible for handing Trump articles and documents she finds on the Internet.

Isenstadt wrote, “Nearby, an aide took in the scene. A black-clad figure was chasing after the former and possibly future leader of the free world. And they were booking it. Was that Natalie?”

The author further claimed that Harp would often follow behind Trump with a wireless printer in a golf cart during the regular outings at his West Palm Beach course.

Isenstadt claimed that she made herself indispensable to Trump after printing out news clips for the president, which he wanted.

Referencing the other Trump aides comparing her to Glenn Close’s character, Isenstadt wrote, “Before long, Trump advisers jokingly began to compare Harp to Alex Forrest, the character played by Glenn Close in the 1987 movie Fatal Attraction.”

He continued, “Forrest had become obsessed with a married man and, in the film's most memorable scene, broke into his house and boiled the family's pet rabbit.”

Claiming “Harp was his Girl Friday,” Isenstadt explained that though she was termed a “migraine” by Trump’s campaign, the 78-year-old politician was left unperturbed. Not only was Trump left unaffected, but he also brought Harp from Florida to the White House.

The author continued, “If Trump wanted to publish a flame-throwing post on Truth Social? Natalie was there to send it through. If he wanted to read a fawning but factually dicey story in a Trump-aligned media outlet? Natalie was there to print it out. If Trump wanted to send some random news article to a Republican member of Congress? Natalie was there to text it to them.”

This has cemented her position, as the author claimed, “As much as those in the senior ranks wanted Natalie gone, they knew she was unfireable.”

Natalie Harp had a meltdown after she was put in ‘ghost flight’

Isenstadt also claimed in his book that Harp - who is a bone cancer survivor and credited Trump's 'Right to Try' law for saving her - had a meltdown after she was put in the decoy flight after Trump was shot during his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July last year.

The Axios journalist wrote that Harp was left fuming when she had to board the Trump-branded plane in November 2024, which was later termed the "Ghost Flight."

After Trump was shot in the Pennsylvania rally and a gunman was discovered on his West Palm Beach golf property in September, Harp, along with some other Trump aides, had to board the ‘Trump Force One’ in November. The then-GOP nominee, on the other hand, boarded Steve Witkoff's plane.

Upon learning that she was not in Trump’s company, Harp was reportedly left extremely upset.

While the current White House chief of staff, Susie Wiles, accompanied the president, Harp, and other aides - including the DOGE head Elon Musk - were on the other plane.

Referencing her reaction to the apparent snub, Isenstadt wrote, “Natalie Harp was perhaps the most upset about being put in the ghost plane.”

“Afterward, she sent Trump a text message complaining she was more important than the other staff members and should have been with him,” claimed the author.

He also noted that during the flight, she wandered off to Trump’s empty bedroom as well, sparking shock among the staffers.

“During the flight, she had wandered into the ex-president's empty bedroom,” wrote Isenstadt, before adding, “Staffers were shocked: It was an area of Trump Force One they didn't dare venture into.”

Despite the mixed reactions surrounding Harp, the White House perceives her to be an important part of Trump’s inner circle.

Steven Cheung, White House communications director, said in a statement to Daily Mail that Harp is “a trusted and valued member of President Trump's team. And she is certainly a big reason why his operation has been as successful as it has ever been. Her work ethic and dedication to helping President Trump achieve his historic victory is second to none.”
