WASHINGTON, DC: In a fiery segment on 'The Megyn Kelly Show' podcast, conservative media figures Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly criticized Michelle Obama for what they described as her “relentless negativity” and apparent “resentment,” particularly in relation to her husband, former President Barack Obama.

While Megyn took issue with Michelle's commentary on race, fear, and inequality in America, it was Tucker who took a more personal route, focusing on the former first lady's relationship with her husband, as per OK! Magazine.

Soon after Megyn Kelly brought up the topic of Michelle Obama's apparent negativity, Tucker Carlson said, “She’s just so miserable, and it’s obvious,” adding that her demeanor reflected “a kind of hostility” toward Barack Obama that has always been apparent.

“And one of the lessons that I've always thought Michelle Obama's life presented to the rest of us is, take some time to focus on your marriage. If you're happy in your marriage, you can feel it, you can smell it, you're emanating a kind of peace or tranquility, you're going home to a spiritual fortress with your spouse,” he expressed.

“A happy marriage produces happy people and happy children. And I just don’t think she spent a lot of time on that. She really dislikes her husband. Super obvious,” the former Fox News host claimed.

Tucker further said, “I'm not just saying that to be catty. I'm trying to feel compassion for her, but her hostility toward the guy is, like, unbelievable, and it's been negative.”

He didn’t hold back as he extended his commentary beyond Michelle’s marriage, calling her part of a broader group of elites.

“She’s like a freak show, and it's easy to make fun of her and I enjoy it, but I do think it's a whole class of people who are afflicted with the same kind of restlessness and rage and emptiness, and they're the ones wrecking our society,” Tucker stated. “It's not the people at the bottom, it's the people at the top, and they have gone way off the rails. And she's a perfect example of it.”

Tucker Carlson says Democratic Party's messaging sounds like they are still campaigning in 2017

Tucker Carlson also took a jab at the Democratic Party, saying their messaging sounds like it's stuck in the past. “It feels so 2017... It's like literally nobody cares. Nobody cares at all,” he said.

The conservative commentator added, “‘People of color under attack.’ No, they’re not. They’re coming here by the millions because this is the safest country for everybody, no matter what your color is or it was in any case. So that's just so old-fashioned.”

He also shifted focus to the wealthy, calling them the true source of national disruption.

“The second thing is, we always beat up on rich White ladies, because they're the most disruptive force in America, but that's unfair. It's not about color. There's something about the people with the most in our country that's really poisonous,” Tucker argued.

“They're the unhappiest or the most restless, they're the most self-involved, they're the least generous, they're the most annoying. And it's not just a gender thing, it's men too. But there's something about America at this moment where the unhappiest people are also the most privileged,” he further expressed.

Wrapping up his rant, Tucker remarked, “There are a lot of deeply unhappy billionaires, way more unhappy than the guy fixing your air conditioning.”
