WASHINGTON, DC: Tucker Carlson recently stirred up a storm of controversy during his appearance on 'The Megyn Kelly Show,' where he launched into a tirade against Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz.

The segment, filled with insinuations and derogatory remarks, has since sparked a fierce backlash across social media, with many criticizing Carlson for his unfounded claims, as reported by The Wrap.

Tucker Carlson launches tirade against Tim Walz

During the interview with Megyn Kelly, Tucker Carlson did not hold back in expressing his disdain for Tim Walz, labeling him a "creeper" without providing any evidence to support his claim.

"I don’t want to be mean. I’ve already said I don’t want to be mean. But like, that Walz guy is a creep," Carlson began.

He went on to draw from his personal experiences at a boarding school in the 1980s, suggesting that his gut feelings about Walz were enough to label him as such.

"I’m just telling you that as someone who went to boarding school in the ’80s, like I know exactly who that guy is. And I’m sorry. It’s just, you know, I hope I’m wrong. I don’t think I am," Carlson stated.

Megyn Kelly chimed in with her derogatory remark, questioning why Walz was "so obsessed with trans-ing children." Carlson echoed this sentiment, drawing parallels between his boarding school experiences and his perception of Walz.

"Well, I lived in a boy’s dorm in a New England boarding school in the 1980s with a lot of guys like Tim Walz. So I saw that guy. I’m like, 'Oh, wow, I know exactly [who you are], you’re a creeper,' as we used to call him. For sure," he asserted.

Despite admitting that he shouldn’t be making such implications without evidence, Carlson continued to cast aspersions on Walz’s character.

"And I probably shouldn’t, I definitely shouldn’t suggest what I’m suggesting without evidence. I don’t have evidence beyond what I’ve seen," he conceded.

But when Kelly pressed him further, asking if he meant that Walz was "like a pervert," Carlson doubled down, saying, "There’s something wrong with that guy. He’s a weirdo. And you can tell watching him. And I’m sorry, I just lived long enough that I know that your gut level perceptions are rooted in truth."

Carlson did acknowledge that his perceptions might not always be accurate, but that didn’t stop him from continuing his baseless remarks.

"They’re not always precisely true. I’ve gotten many things wrong, like the details are unknown to me, but I look at that guy and I’m like, 'You’re a weirdo.' And everyone’s like, 'Oh, he’s so normal.' No, not normal, sorry," he claimed.

Walz, throughout his political career, has been a staunch advocate for transgender rights and gender-affirming care, according to The Washington Post.

As restrictive legislation targeting transgender individuals began to spread across the United States, Walz emerged as a prominent figure in the fight to protect these vulnerable communities.

On X, a person remarked, "Of course you said it anyway, Tucker. Because you are a low life and also, super weird."

Another said, "Tucker’s a professional manipulator. He comes up with a story to create a sense of backed up 'experience' to validate his opinion just so he can call someone a creeper and feel like it’s valid. What a sociopath."

"The projection is thick this season," wrote one person.

Another added, "Throwing out accusations without evidence is a slippery slope—let’s keep the conversation based on facts, not gut feelings."

"The creeper is in the mirror, Tuck," wrote one individual. One person wrote, "A whole lot of projecting going on."

Another pointed out, "Like pretty much everything you say. No evidence. What a surprise."

One netizen stated, "If ANYONE was a creeper in the 1980s, it was Tucker Carlson."
