Who is Tzara Jones?
Tzara Jones is the granddaughter and caretaker of 93-year-old Aremean Mayo. Jones had moved in with Mayo several years ago to care for the elderly woman full-time.
Last summer, Mayo's 69-year-old partner Michael Willett, who requires a wheelchair, also came to live in the home.

Autopsies ruled deaths as homicides
Authorities in Denmark, Maine responded to a welfare check call at the home of Aremean Mayo on Saturday afternoon. Inside, they made the horrific discovery of Mayo and Willett stabbed to death.
Mayo suffered at least ten stab wounds while Willett was stabbed three times in the chest. Both had been dead for over 24 hours when found.
Also present at the scene was Tzara Jones, Mayo's full-time live-in caretaker and granddaughter. Jones was initially hostile with officers but was transported to the hospital for medical evaluation. She now faces two charges of murder for the brutal slayings.
Investigators say Jones gave confused statements when asked of Willett's whereabouts, claiming he had gone hunting despite needing a wheelchair. Inside the home, a bloody butcher knife lay next to Mayo's body in the entryway. Willett was found deceased in a bedroom. Autopsies performed Sunday officially ruled both deaths as homicide by stabbing.
Police suspect 'caregiver fatigue' is behind stabbings
Family members say Jones had complained of the difficulties of caring for both her grandmother and Willett, but refused offers of assistance. This has led police to investigate whether so-called "caregiver fatigue" could have been a factor behind the tragic crime.
Jones appeared in court Tuesday for her arraignment on the double murder charges. She remains in custody at Oxford County Jail pending future hearings.
