US airstrikes 300+ Iranian targets as IRGC threatens Gulf Nations and US Oil Infrastructure
WASHINGTON, DC: US Central Command announced Saturday, July 11th, that American forces have completed a third consecutive night of strikes against Iran, bringing the total number of Iranian military targets struck this week to more than 300, as the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps escalated its response by launching ballistic missiles at US bases in Qatar and Oman and threatening to deprive America and its allies of the region's energy supplies "for years to come."
Saturday's operation alone hit approximately 140 Iranian military targets using precision munitions launched by land- and sea-based fighter aircraft, drones, and naval vessels, targeting missile and drone sites, naval capabilities, ammunition storage facilities, communications networks, and coastal surveillance positions.
IRGC strikes Qatar, Oman bases in multi-phase response
"During three nights of strikes this week, CENTCOM has struck more than 300 targets at the direction of the Commander in Chief to degrade Iran's ability to attack civilian mariners and commercial vessels freely transiting the strait," CENTCOM said in a statement.
Iran responded in a series of escalating stages.
The IRGC said it hit the US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar with ballistic missiles, destroying the fighter jet maintenance and repair center and the command center, in the second phase of its response.

The IRGC said it struck a second vessel in the Strait of Hormuz and targeted the US Navy’s supply, logistics and refuelling base in Oman.
Iran also launched ballistic missiles toward the United Arab Emirates, the first Iranian strike on the UAE in over two months, with multiple explosions reported across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
