PITTSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA: Moments before gunfire broke out at Donald Trump's rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, a figure could be seen moving across the roof of the American Glass Research (AGR) building in a video captured by James Copenhaver.

Copenhaver is one of the victims critically injured in the assassination attempt against the former US president on July 13.

A person can be seen walking from the 1.00-second mark to roughly the 2.50-second mark on the building's roof next to where Trump is speaking in the video, shot at 6.08 pm on the said date.

Thomas Matthew Crooks opened shooting at Donald Trump at about 6.11 pm

It is believed by officials that three minutes later, at approximately 6.11 pm, gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, started firing with a collapsible AR-15-style rifle. Not long after Crooks was shot dead by counter snipers, authorities discovered eight shell casings close to his body.

Crooks fatally shot Corey Comperatore, a 50-year-old husband, father, and former chief of the Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Department, in his attempt to kill the former president.

Additionally, the 20-year-old gunman seriously injured David Dutch, 57, and Copenhaver, 74. Those who knew both victims said that they had been shot twice.

James Copenhaver still recuperating after being shot at Donald Trump's PA rally

According to lawyer Joseph Feldman of the Law Offices of Max C Feldman, James Copenhaver was released from Allegheny General Hospital on July 26 but is still recuperating in a rehabilitation facility.

Feldman told Fox News on Wednesday, July 31, that the first injury Copenhaver received was to his arm, and the second was to his abdominal region.

As soon as the opening shots were fired, Trump and the supporters of his rally turned to face immigration figures that had just been displayed on a huge screen.

"He had almost seen or heard something whiz past him, which we're assuming was a bullet. He felt it on his arm, and he looked down at his arm…and felt pain initially, but he hadn't even realized he had been shot a second time at that point. It could have been shock," Feldman said of Copenhaver, per Fox News.

Amidst the ensuing screams and "pandemonium," Copenhaver took some time to realize what had happened to him.

How did Thomas Matthew Crooks access roof for shooting Donald Trump?

During a press conference on Monday, FBI agents revealed to reporters that Thomas Matthew Crooks climbed HVAC equipment and pipes to get to the AGR building's roof.

He then made his way across several rooftops and eventually positioned himself atop the AGR building, giving him a clear view of the former president.

Before the shooting on July 6, Pennsylvanian resident Crooks of Bethel Park investigated the distance between Lee Harvey Oswald and the deceased president John F Kennedy at the time of the latter's 1963 assassination.

Thomas Matthew Crooks spent about '70 minutes' at PA rally before attempting Donald Trump's assassination

The 20-year-old shooter arrived at Donald Trump's Pennsylvania rally on July 7 and stayed there for about twenty minutes, according to Kevin Rojek, special agent in charge of the FBI's Pittsburgh field office.

On the day of the rally, Crooks parked his car 200 yards from the former president's July 13 speech location, and he used a drone to fly between 3.50 and 4 pm.

During a congressional hearing on July 17, FBI Director Christopher Wray testified that Crooks had spent roughly 70 minutes at the rally site the morning of the attempted assassination.

Around 90 minutes before the shooting started, law enforcement officers were also aware of a suspicious individual close to the rally site, and they took pictures of Crooks at 4.36 pm.

The FBI is still working to determine Crooks' motive behind shooting Trump.Internet says Donald Trump's shooting is 'inside job' after chilling footage surfaces online

Netizens suspect that the insiders cooked up and conspired to kill Donald Trump after the disturbing footage was released by the media outlets.

One X user tweeted, "The FBI would have known about this before their testimony before Congress, same for the Secret service. Perjury."

"The snipers had a better angle and view. Inside job," another added.

"Either it was an inside job or they’re completely absolutely incompetent," echoed one more user.

"This was a deep state up. No one can miss this," remarked one while someone else wrote, "He didnt come by helicopter, how could they ever have noticed."
