UNIONDALE, NEW YORK: Donald Trump got the crowd cheering at his Uniondale, New York rally after he compared himself with legendary musician Elvis Presley.

On Wednesday, September 18, the former president boasted about his popularity and the large crowds he draws at his campaign rallies.

“Nobody can draw crowds like me... I’m the greatest of all time,” he addressed his supporters at the rally, stressing, “Maybe greater even than Elvis. Elvis had a guitar, I don’t have a guitar. I don’t have the privilege of a guitar,” per The Independent.

Donald Trump previously mocked Barack Obama over his 'obsession with crowd sizes'

Interestingly, Donald Trump was recently trolled by Barack Obama during his DNC speech, where he took a dig at the Republican for his “weird obsession with crowd sizes,” while gesturing with his hands.

"Here's a 78-year-old billionaire who has not stopped whining about his problems since he rode down his golden escalator nine years ago. It has been a constant stream of gripes and grievances that's actually getting worse now that he's afraid of losing to Kamala. There's the childish nicknames, the crazy conspiracy theories, this weird obsession with crowd sizes," he said about Trump.

The former president later retorted to Obama's DNC speech and said, "He was nasty to me. He was nasty," reported Deadline.

Trump clarified that he “sticks to policy,” according to his campaign, but in the future, he will give it back to his rivals, reported The New Republic.

Internet trolls Donald Trump after he calls himself 'greater' than Elvis

Netizens were quick to react to Donald Trump's remark on Elvis Presley during his New York campaign trail. A few shared they were tired of the former president's "rambling."

A user expressed on X (formerly Twitter), "Doesn't mean much coming from the guy who compares himself to Lincoln."

"Trump is the greatest of all time in the categories of causing insurrections against the Capitol and number of felony convictions as a presidential nominee," another person shared.

"He is rambling again and talking about himself. Go to sleep grandpa 👴🏻," a netizen trolled. "Please explain to me how he’s one step away from being President…I really can’t believe how he’s even got one vote," another joined.

"Open looking at the population that is behind Danaldt Trump during the speech, we see that Donald Trump attracts the middle class and the travellers and farmers during the hour speech," someone else opined.

"Elvis had a guitar, Hannibal Lecter is going to have you for dinner, immigrants are eating the pets…Trump’s stump speeches are filled with insanity, stupidity and lies. Surreal. I’ll never forgive the Republicans for allowing this to continue," slammed another individual.

An online user wrote, "His family really needs to intervene. He should never be allowed near the White House again."
