‘When did Lindsey Graham become our president?’: Megyn Kelly slams senator over Spain warning
WASHINGTON, DC: After South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham warned several countries about their stance on the growing war with Iran, conservative commentator Megyn Kelly strongly criticized him.
Kelly mocked Graham's comments on her show and asked why the senator seemed to be making threats about foreign policy on behalf of the United States.

Kelly’s criticism followed Graham’s public statements urging allies to more openly support the United States and Israel in the growing confrontation with Iran.
When did Lindsay Graham become our president? In the past 24 hours he’s threatened Lebanon, Cuba, the Saudis, the wider Arab region and now - checks notes - Spain https://t.co/h53EuFJRyQ

Kelly argued that the senator was speaking as if he were directing US foreign policy.
Kelly has recently been heavily criticizing the South Carolina senator over his comments and stance on the Iran war.
“Let’s get real,” Kelly wrote in a post. “The problem with Lindsey Graham isn’t just that he’s a homicidal maniac, it’s that Trump likes and is listening to him.”
Let’s get real. The problem with Lindsay Graham isn’t (just) that he’s a homicidal maniac, it’s that Trump likes and is listening to him, and Trump’s favorite channel is parading him around like a Hefner bunny in stockings on every show.

She also criticized the amount of media attention Graham receives in conservative outlets, saying the senator frequently appears across television programs discussing foreign policy.
“Trump’s favorite channel is parading him around like a Hefner bunny in stockings on every show,” Kelly said, referring to the volume of Graham’s television appearances.
Lindsey Graham tells Spain, Arab allies ‘step up’
During his remarks, Graham addressed what he described as insufficient public support from some countries involved in US security partnerships. “To our friends in Spain, man, you’ve lost your way. I don’t want to do business with you anymore,” Graham said.
He suggested relocating US bases currently operating in Spain to another country willing to provide stronger backing for American military operations.

“To our Arab friends, I've tried to help you construct a new Mideast. You need to up your game here. I can't go to South Carolina and say we're fighting and you won't publicly fight.”
Graham didn’t hold back. He called out governments across the Middle East, telling them it’s time to step up and openly push back against Iran.
He’s been one of the loudest Republican voices demanding tough action on Iran and tighter teamwork between Israel and its neighbors.
Meanwhile, Kelly’s comments show just how split conservative media has become over how involved the US should get in the Middle East, and what role lawmakers ought to play when it comes to putting pressure on other governments.
