WASHINGTON, DC: The White House has launched a scathing attack on renowned journalist and author Michael Wolff over the claims he made in his upcoming book on President Donald Trump, the Daily Beast reported on Friday, February 21.

Titled 'All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America', the book is published by Penguin Random House and is priced at $32. It will be available for sale from Tuesday, February 25.

Revelations made by Michael Wolff in his new book

After receiving an advanced copy of the book, the Daily Beast revealed that Michael Wolff shares a number of anecdotes that are personal for the 78-year-old commander-in-chief as he lays out his return to the Oval Office in 2024.

The stories include details about the state of Trump's relationship with his wife Melania, as well as how he feels about the behaviors of some of his closest aides, which include tech billionaire Elon Musk.

Wolff reportedly interviewed a "Mar-a-Lago patio confidant" who claimed to be “bewildered that this needed saying,” but Melania "f**king hates him (Donald Trump)."

Melania made herself scarce during her husband's 2024 presidential campaign, which led to speculations about the couple drifting apart. Wolff notes on the subject, "Whatever was going on — and no one had any idea what was going on, at least no more than what was plainly obvious — it had certainly not been helped by the Stormy (Daniels, NY hush money) trial. But that seemed hardly the only thing to explain the colder and colder winter."

Commenting on the odd behavior of some of Trump's closest aides, Wolff claims that the POTUS was “bewildered” at Tesla CEO Elon Musk jumping about on stage beside him during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania last year.

White House slams Michael Wolff

Since reports surfaced about the upcoming book, the White House has relentlessly attacked Michael Wolff and his work, insisting that he was peddling fiction.

Trump's Chief of Staff Susie Wiles issued a joint statement with Chris LaCivita, co-manager of Trump's 2024 presidential campaign, that read, "A number of us have received inquiries from the disgraced author Michael Wolff, whose previous work can only be described as fiction."

"He is a known peddler of fake news who routinely concocts situations, conversations, and conclusions that never happened. As a group, we have decided not to respond to his bad-faith inquiries, and we encourage others to completely disregard whatever nonsense he eventually publishes. Consider this our blanket response to whatever he writes," the statement added.

LaCivita shared another statement with White House deputy chief of staff for policy Jason Miller, expressing, "Michael Wolff’s latest work of fiction is total garbage and should be completely disregarded."

"The scenes are imaginary, the conversations are fake, the dialogue is made-up, and once again, just like his other books falsely attacking President Trump, nobody believes any of it," they continued before stating "It’s been widely reported that Wolff’s previous works have been riddled with inaccuracies and copyediting mistakes, and this is no different.”

Perhaps the most brutal takedown of Wolff came from White House Communications Director Steven Cheung, who stated, "Michael Wolff is a lying sack of s**t and has been proven to be a fraud. He routinely fabricates stories originating from his sick and warped imagination, only possible because he has a severe and debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted his peanut-sized brain.”

Internet divided on their opinion of Michael Wolff's book

Netizens reacting to the White House's criticism of Michael Wolff's work failed to unite either in support or against him. The following tweets demonstrate their takes.

"Thanks for alerting me to the book. I will buy it," wrote a user.

"Thank you for warning us. Won’t purchase," countered another.

"If Trump is denying it then we know it definitely happened!" exclaimed a user.

"Him again??? One of the most overrated fiction writers of all time," noted someone else.

"Ha! If you're attacking it so vociferously that means it's 100% true. Can't wait to read it!" stated an individual.

"Can’t wait to not read it," jibed yet another.
