WASHINGTON, DC: Jim Acosta has found himself in hot water after making a vile joke about Presdient Donald Trump’s late ex-wife Ivana Trump, calling her an example of an immigrant “doing the jobs that Americans don’t want to do.”

The 54-year-old former CNN correspondent made cruel remarks about Ivana's grave while bashing the Trump administration's immigration policies on Jennifer Rubin's ‘The Contrarian’ podcast on Monday, June 16.

During the podcast, Jim Acosta attacked Donald Trump not just for the ICE raids, but also for being a hypocrite on immigration because of his immigrant spouses, especially his late first wife, Ivana Trump.

“Where are the ICE raids at the Trump properties? Could somebody call ICE on the Trump golf course in Virginia?” Acosta said, according to the New York Post.

“You’re telling me there’s nobody in there that is undocumented or has some kind of squirreliness going on with their paperwork? Give me a break,” he asked in a clip flagged by reporter Jason Cohen.

Acosta then veered off the conversation to Trump's personal life, asking, “How many immigrants has he married?”

“He’s got one buried at his golf course in New Jersey! Isn’t she buried by the first hole or the second tee or something like that?” he asked, as Rubin and left-wing reporter April Ryan laughed.

“Immigrants, always doing the jobs that Americans don't want to do!” Acosta added.

“Wow what a nasty person this guy is but then it is cnn he is working for so what would anyone expect,” another comment read.

“The hatred from this man is vile. Why make fun of a dead lady who has nothing to do with him. Acosta should be institutionalized and treated before he destroys himself with hatred,” an individual expressed.
