White House insider calls Melania Trump ‘important advisor’ to Donald in new book but Internet disagrees

WASHINGTON, DC: Axios reporter and White House insider Alex Isenstadt has portrayed first lady Melania Trump as an "incredibly important advisor" to her husband, President Donald Trump, in his upcoming book 'Revenge: The Inside Story of Trump's Return to Power'.
Set to hit the shelves on Tuesday, March 18, the author of the book joined the Daily Mail's podcast 'Welcome to Magaland' the previous day for a related interview, where he offered an insight into the current relationship of the first couple.
Donald Trump values Melania Trump's advice

Alex Isenstadt claimed on the podcast that the commander-in-chief considered Melania Trump's inputs important, so much so that when called up by aides late at night, he would put them on speakerphone so that she could join the conversation.
She even advised Trump not to attack his 2024 GOP primary adversary Ron DeSantis in his first post after getting his X account reinstated, because she felt it would "make him look small".

The 54-year-old former model "also gives him stylistic advice, which is not surprising because she's someone who's very much into appearances and presentation, of course," stated Isenstadt, adding, "One of the things that she doesn't like that Trump does is he dances at his rallies."
About Melania making herself rare around the POTUS in the White House, the journalist argued, "In a lot of ways, her scarcity creates value. Donors want to be around her when she's going to an event, that's a huge attraction because she's not there as much, right? Trump, he's holding press conferences every day and he's totally out there all the time. But when she's present at something, it gets a lot of eyeballs. And I think she knows that."

In his book, Isenstadt shares a joke made by Trump, which highlights how Melania is always on his mind. Early in his campaign in 2023, Trump was onboard his private aircraft with the then-pregnant GOP Congresswoman Anna Paulina.
He allegedly offered Luna to rest on the bed inside the aircraft if needed, and said in jest, "If you need a bed to lay down in, there's one here on the plane. If you feel sick and you need to lay there, you can lay on it. Just don't tell Melania. She doesn't like other women on my bed."
However, Trump's White House has written off the upcoming book, with Communications Director Steven Cheung stating on the subject, "Many of these so-called insider books are a desperate attempt to make money off of President Trump's name because journalism is a dying industry with reporters peddling lies and selling their souls in order to make a quick buck."
Internet refuses to believe Melania Trump's role as Donald Trump's advisor
Netizens reacting to the report on the DailyMail website trolled the claims made by Alex Isenstadt. The following comments demonstrate their takes.
"Melania has nothing to do with Trump and his orange makeup lines," wrote a person.
"Stylistic advice? Well, it’s not working!" jibed another.
"Melania doesn't give rats rear what Trump does. She cares as much about him as a mosquito bite," quipped one user.
"How much stylistic advice is needed to pick a suit and red tie?" mocked another.
"It is obvious Melina holds all the power in that relationship; she will do whatever she wants and he will bow to it because he is petrified of a 3rd divorce on his record," claimed one user.
