WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump reportedly “doesn’t give a f**k” anymore, a White House staffer told The Washington Post in an interview recently.

Speaking to the outlet’s Natalie Allison, Jeff Stein, Cat Zakrzewski, and Michael Birnbaum, several White House officials, claiming to know Trump’s thinking, shared that the 78-year-old president has now reached the “peak of not giving a f**k.”

'The Commander-in-Chief recently made a massive tariff announcement on Wednesday, April 2, on "Liberation Day", where he revealed his administration’s decision to impose massive tariffs on imports from several countries.

Reflecting on the same, a White House official revealed what Trump thought in the moments leading up to his announcement in the Rose Garden.

During his momentous announcement revealing the tariffs, Donald Trump claimed that the economic reforms would eventually help in manufacturing in America, along with boosting trade deals.

Despite the president’s claims, the stock market has been suffering a free fall, raising concerns among investors.

However, an official claiming to have an understanding of Trump’s thought process said that even the bad news about the tariff war no longer perturbs the president, according to Mediaite.

“He’s at the peak of just not giving a f**k anymore,” said the official, before adding, “Bad news stories? Doesn’t give a f**k.”

The insider added, “He’s going to do what he’s going to do. He’s going to do what he promised to do on the campaign trail.”

Donald Trump's second administration is staffed by true 'Trumpers'

The Washington Post story further revealed the difference between the staffers of the second Trump administration from the first. The major difference lies in the fact that there is little discontent among the staffers in the second regime.

The insiders explained that during the second regime, the White House has been staffed mainly with staunch Trump supporters, leading to fewer disagreements.

Thus, even if the tariff plan was getting drafted three hours before the announcement, there was almost no disagreement between the officials and the MAGA spearhead.

Another official explained, “In the first term, everyone thought they were president,” before adding that those disagreements are things of the past now, and that all the officials fully support the president as he called for a trade war.

Speaking of the recruitment process of the White House officials, Wilbur Ross, the former commerce secretary in Trump’s first administration, said, “In their recruiting process, they made sure it would only be people who were totally Trumpers, because in the first administration there was a lot of trouble with people quitting, writing bad books, things like that.”

“The people now have been confirmed as true Trumpers,” Ross added.
