LAWRENCE COUNTY, INDIANA: Indiana woman Sarah Harris is paying the price for drug possession and snitching on her dealer.

Harris was charged with narcotics possession after she dialed 911 to report buying a substandard batch of methamphetamine and expressed her intent to press charges against her drug dealer. Needless to say, it backfired badly.

In fact, this isn't Harris’ first rodeo with law enforcement, as per The Smoking Gun.

She has previously been convicted of theft, possession of methamphetamine, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.

Woman claims drugs she got were of bad quality

On January 10, 2024, Lawrence County Central Dispatch received two 'open line' phone calls, prompting an officer to visit her residence "to ensure that everyone was okay."

During a conversation with a police captain, Harris claimed that the methamphetamine she had obtained was not of the expected quality.

She described feeling as if she were experiencing a heart attack after ingesting the drug.

Harris further explained that upon snorting a line of meth, she sensed something unusual upon contact with her skin and nostrils.

She also revealed that prior to ingesting this meth, she and a friend had consumed a bowl of regular methamphetamine before acquiring the questionable batch which led her to make the emergency call to 911 earlier in the year.

Woman asks for the drug to be tested

Believing that the local sheriff operated a sort of Illegal Business Bureau, Harris requested that the drug be tested.

She also expressed her intention to report the individual who provided her with the methamphetamine.

During a conversation with police at her residence in Bedford, Harris inadvertently handed over the problematic meth.

Subsequently, the contents of the small baggie, adorned with a "red pig design," tested positive for methamphetamine.

As a result of Harris providing the narcotics evidence, she was charged last week with meth possession.

This Class 6 felony carries a maximum prison term of 30 months, with the advisory sentence being one year.

Harris’s criminal record includes convictions for theft, meth possession, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.

Internet reminds woman 911 'isn't quality control' for drugs

After the charges of meth possession against Sarah Harris came to light, many quickly turned to the comment section of the New York Post to share their thoughts.

One user wrote, "Money for drugs , and not bright, bad combo, prison will put her on the right path"

Another user slammed Harris saying, "911 isn’t quality control. That’s what she gets for the toxins she calls for comfort."

A user wrote, "Let that be a lesson for both dealer and dope feinds alike, for dealer he can't be out here paddling bad poison. People expect good poison that will get them high. And drug addicts should expect that drug dealer's only care about tricking them for gain no matter what the cost ... even to the of real poison... Like fentanyl!"

Another reader added, "That was dumb of her: you do not call 911 to report bad drugs, you call the CPSC and have the Feds take care of it"

One more reader commented, "What a dummy. Should have sued in small claims claims court."
