WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump is facing people’s wrath online as he retracted saying dead soldiers are “losers and suckers”.

In a Truth Social post, the ex-president wrote, “Obviously, I never said that dead Soldiers are “losers and suckers”. Who would say such a thing?”

Trump claims himself to be the true leader of America

He continued, “It was MADE UP DISINFORMATION by Radical Left Democrats, and Trump Haters, working with a failing Magazine, just like Russia, Russia, Russia, Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine, FISA Fraud, 51 Intel Agents, and so much more.

“Anytime you see that despicable FAKE statement used, remember that it comes from the FASCIST SCUM that is destroying our Country.”

“Nobody has done more for the Military than Donald J. Trump - I completely Rebuilt it, and added SPACE FORCE to boot! VOTE FOR TRUMP - MAGA2024!” he added.

Trump allegedly called dead soldiers ‘losers’

However, what the Republican leader has said now is reportedly opposite to his statement made in 2018.

As per a 2020 report by The Atlantic, Trump did not visit the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery, near Paris, in 2018, blaming it on rain.

At the time, the publication citing sources reported that the 77-year-old had also said, “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.”

He also allegedly dubbed over 1,800 dead marines who were killed at Belleau Wood “suckers”.

Internet calls Donald Trump ‘liar’

Meanwhile, people have called out Trump for his recent statement as a user on X tweeted, “You once said this of Senator John McCain. It's on tape. You cannot erase your past.”

Another user wrote, “He won’t talk himself out of this, he insulted veterans many times.”

The third user mentioned, “I will go with the Marine who served.”

“And once again, Donald Trump lies,” the fourth user stated.

“Trump loves the military when they’re in shiny uniforms making him look powerful. Just don’t get wounded or die in service. Because what’s in it for them?” the fifth one sarcastically remarked.

An individual commented, “Yet he did say it & there is proof that was there when he said it. Trump is not for our military, trump is against our military & their families' well-being. We need to play the auto recording of that day. John Kelly has it.”

Another one added, “Trump could use some $ now. If this is indeed false, why doesn’t he sue for defamation? Should be pretty easy to win the court case…. unless of course his former Chief of Staff (was it Kelly?) appears to testify. C’mon Trump, prove them liars, let’s see the defamation trial!”
