WASHINGTON, DC: Robert F Kennedy Jr, the third-party candidate, came under fire from former President Donald Trump on Wednesday, March 27. He said that RFK Jr and his recently declared running mate, Nicole Shanahan, will soon face charges, as per Mediaite.

Trump posted on his Truth Social account, "RFK Jr is the most Radical Left Candidate in the race, by far. He’s a big fan of the Green New Scam, and other economy killing disasters."

He further added, "I guess this would mean he is going to be taking votes from Crooked Joe Biden, which would be a great service to America. His running mate, Nicole Shanahan, is even more “Liberal” than him, if that’s possible. Kennedy is a Radical Left Democrat, and always will be!!!"

He went on to state, "It’s great for MAGA, but the Communists will make it very hard for him to get on the Ballot. Expect him, and her, to be indicted any day now, probably for Environmental Fraud! He is Crooked Joe Biden’s Political Opponent, not mine. I love that he is running!"

Financial Times' Edward Luce wrote on Wednesday, March 27, "Polls show RFK Jr would draw most of his support from Biden. The fact that Tim Mellon, a big Trump donor, has given him $20m backs that up. You wouldn’t waste that kind of cash on a hopeless cause without a larger aim."

RFK Jr first joined the 2024 contest as a Democratic contender in April 2023, but in October, he decided to run as an independent candidate. Although Trump's team was allegedly concerned about the votes that Kennedy's independent effort would take away from the incumbent president, his longshot campaign has been seen as more of a danger to President Joe Biden's reelection bid.

Internet divided as Trump brutally attacks RFK Jr

People on the internet had mixed reactions with their opinions when Donald Trump attacked RFK Jr through his Truth Social post. A user posted on X, "I can’t believe RFK picked Shanahan for VP. What was Alex Soros busy?"

A user added, "It’s true. Trump was never in favor of mandatory vaccination. He pushed for therapeutics, monoclonal antibodies, and natural immunity. Then the left tried to say he told everyone to drink bleach" while one mentioned, "If Trump says that he "loves that RFK Jr is running," it means that Trump hates it. So, now we know."

A person also stated, "Polls have shown that RFK will be taking more Republican votes away from Trump, because they are sick and tired of his rants and volatility" while one added, "Trump will win this presidential election."
