LEHI, UTAH: Chandler David Hendry, on Friday, August 7, was talking about eternity in his final social media video.

Hours later, the 27-year-old content creator was dead following a crash in Utah.

Hendry had just attended a faith conference in Lehi when he recorded the Instagram clip, discussing an illustration of family connections after death.

His sudden death later that day has given the deeply personal video a haunting significance for those who knew him and followed his work.

There was nothing in Hendry’s last post to suggest it would become a farewell.

He was discussing an illustration shown at the FAIR conference by Anthony Sweat. The drawing featured a central line with several branches extending outward, representing relationships continuing through eternity.

“That is what the eternities will look like,” Hendry said while looking at the illustration.

The video was shared on Instagram only hours before the crash.

Hendry had spent years building an online following around his religious beliefs. He was the founder of the Restored Truth podcast and had more than 48,000 followers on Instagram, where he regularly discussed Mormon teachings and Christian faith.

His videos often ended with the same message: “Keep your knees on the ground and your eyes toward heaven!”

Utah crash claims Chandler David Hendry's life

Later Friday, Hendry was driving westbound in Lehi when he ran a red light and reportedly collided with two other vehicles.

The vehicles involved were traveling in different directions when the crash occurred. Hendry was not wearing a seat belt and was taken to a local hospital, where he died.

Authorities said there were no other serious injuries reported.

The timing is especially difficult for his family. Hendry was only weeks away from his second wedding anniversary with his wife, Analynn.

His death also came just as he was preparing to bring young members of his church together for an event connected to missionary service.

The gathering went ahead the next day, but instead of being a celebration of the young participants, it became an occasion to remember Hendry.

His father, Chad, reportedly spoke about a side of his son that had existed long before he became a prominent religious voice online.

Hendry had once resisted speaking publicly, even turning down a request from his bishop while he was a high school senior. He eventually changed as he began speaking about his beliefs online.
