Celebrity couples are no different; it is widely known that ex-couples like Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck or Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are still very amiable with one another. Here are 10 celeb ex-couples who continue to remain on good terms. 

1. Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck filed for divorce in 2017 after an incredibly cordial two years of separation during which they continued to live and travel with their three children. During a December 2016 interview, Affleck referred to Garner as "the greatest mom in the world." Speaking to CBS Sunday Morning, Garner addressed the tension that led to their split and said, "You feel a pressure to hurry up and get married because you think that’ll end the ‘Are they engaged? Are they not?’ That’s true in the reverse, as well."

2. Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin

The Coldplay frontman and the Oscar winner "consciously uncoupled" in 2014 and officially divorced in 2016, yet they remain best friends while raising their children, Apple, 13, and Moses, 11. Moreover, Gwyneth Paltrow is friends with Chris Martin's longtime girlfriend Dakota Johnson. The Goop founder stated in a 2020 British Vogue column, "My ex and I had always been friends…We were close, though we had never fully settled into being a couple. We just didn’t quite fit together."

Taylor Lautner is one of Taylor Swift's former boyfriends who has a unique and highly sought-after status: he and the singer are overtly friendly. On a March 2022 broadcast of 'On-Air With Ryan Seacrest', the 'American Idol' host interviewed his ex-girlfriend and her brother, Derek Hough. "Jules, just to start, [my cohosts] Sisanie and Tanya have been asking me if this is awkward for me. And I said, ‘Not at all because we’re friends,'" shared Ryan. Julianne concurred and said, "We’re friends! We chat [a lot]," as per Us Weekly.

5. Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick

Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick eventually moved on after a difficult love engagement that lasted from 2006 to 2015. The ex-couple has developed a solid co-parenting dynamic and close friendship for their three children, Mason, Penelope, and Reign. In November 2020, a source revealed to Us Weekly that the connection between Kardashian and Disick has evolved since they broke up. The insider said at the time, "Kourtney and Scott’s relationship has taken a bit of shift recently — spending more time together and being more kind with each other."
