The constant speculations surrounding the British royal family hit a new high in January of this year, following Kate Middleton's hospitalization. While some made jokes about a botched plastic surgery procedure, others thought she had been killed. The Princess of Wales eventually put an end to the rumors when she revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer. In March, she shared, "It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment."

The pop star's representatives referred to the reports that she had been spotted kissing Karlie at a concert in 2014 as "crap."
