The same appears to be true for several A-list celebrities, including Tobey Maguire, Will Smith, and Jim Carrey, who knew they would be successful (and famous) when they grew up. Here's a list of 10 such celebs who successfully predicted their glitzy showbiz career when they were mere youngsters.
1. Lady Gaga
Back in 2008, Lady Gaga made a solid case for manifestation when she released her debut album 'The Fame', which focused on an individual's ability to manifest their fame. She shared in an interview that when she was young, she told her father about wanting to become a rock star and he encouraged her to pursue the dream. "You have the ability to self-proclaim your own fame. You have the ability to experience and feel a certain amount of self-worth that comes from a very vain place by simply your choices … your opinions about music, the way that you walk down the street, the way that you carry yourself at parties. I mean, you can literally choose to have fame, and that’s what this whole album is about," once said Lady Gaga about her debut album, as per Toofab.
2. Chris Pratt
Chris Pratt always knew he would grow up to be someone famous. Back in school, the Star-Lord once prophesied that he would be famous one day, though, at that time, he didn't know what he would do. The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' actor once told Entertainment Weekly, "My high school wrestling coach reminds me about this time I came into his office, and he said, 'Chris, what do you want to do with yourself?' I was like, 'I don’t know, but I know I’ll be famous, and I know I’ll make a shit ton of money.'" He continued, "I had no idea how. I’d done nothing proactive. It was as dumb as someone saying, 'I’ll probably be an astronaut. I’m sure I’ll stumble into an astronaut suit and end up in space one day.'"

In a video taken during her eighth grade graduation, the SKIMS founder can be seen rightfully predicting that she would be famous one day. She jokingly said, "Does everyone get a tape of this? 4. Will Smith
After getting cheated on by his then-girlfriend when he was 15, Will Smith took a vow to make his name in the entertainment industry. In fact, he a song on the radio before he even graduated high school. During one of his appearances on Variety's Actors on Actors series, the 'Men in Black' actor said, "When I was 15, my girlfriend cheated on me. And from that moment, in this bizarre psychological twist, I wanted to be the most famous entertainer on Earth."
5. Jim Carrey
Today, Jim Carrey is known as the crowd's favorite comedian. In the early days of his career, while still struggling, 'The Mask' actor rightfully predicted that one day he would become the most sought-after comedy star in Tinseltown. In 2013, the 'Passengers' actress shared with Vogue, "I’ve never said this before because there is no way to say it without it being completely misunderstood, but ever since I was really little, I always had a very normal idea of what I wanted: I was going to be a mom and I was going to be a doctor and I was going to live in Kentucky.
