HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA: One of the premier award ceremonies, the Governors Award 2024 saw Hollywood stars gather at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Ovation Hollywood on Sunday, November 17. Dressed in their finest, the stars walked the red carpet for the award show hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Board of Governors.
With Jennifer Lopez glittering in her silver gown to Saoirse Ronan exuding modern elegance, the Governors Award 2024 was a night to celebrate cinema and fashion. Music composer Quincy Jones, casting director Juliet Taylor, producer and director Richard Curtis, and producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli emerged as big winners of the night as they were honored with the Governors Award.

Divorce blues? What's that? Jennifer Lopez proved once again that she is an icon when it comes to red-carpet dressing. The 55-year-old superstar - who is making headlines for both her 'Unstoppable' promotional looks and her ongoing divorce with ex Ben Affleck - dazzled in a sheer silver figure-hugging gown. The futuristic creation was a thing of beauty as the gown featured intricate embroidery in beads and sequins. The halter-neck gown further featured cascading embellishments that did away with the necessity of a necklace. The strategic placement of the black cape attached to the back of the dress only accentuated Lopez's toned figure. The 'Hustlers' star completed her glamorous look with a natural makeup look, smoky eyes and nude glossy lips. She left her hair open with a parting in the middle.

Angelina Jolie looked straight out of a fairytale as she walked the red carpet with her son, Knox Jolie-Pitt. The 'Maria' actress oozed elegance in a cream-colored romantic lace creation with a gold-sequined bodice featuring a simple halter-neck square neckline. Jolie complemented her look with soft cottage-core makeup fresh face and coral lipstick. Knox, looking every bit of a dapper young man, as the teenager dressed in a black tuxedo while accompanying his mother.

Jennifer Lopez showed off her growing baby bump in a body-conscious chocolate brown Bottega Veneta gown that featured a draping silhouette with gold accents at her left shoulder and waist, per Grazia Magazine. The glamorous expecting mother oozed elegance as she completed her look with a dazzling gold clutch and styled her blonde hair in a softly tousled look.

Saoirse Ronan got the blue of her eyes complementing the cool mint green of her strapless gown.
