The end of Bennifer 2.0 shattered the hearts of many fans who shipped Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. The 'Atlas' actress filed for divorce from her dashing husband on August 20 after months of speculations of marital woes. While it is nothing but unfortunate to see a couple separating, here are 12 tender moments shared by the once passionate couple on the red carpet that made us believe in love. 

1. Red carpet debut in December 2022 at 'Maid in Manhattan' premiere

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez made their first grand red carpet debut in December 2002 when the 'Good Will Hunting' star supported his lady love during the premiere of her film 'Maid in Manhattan'. The couple was newly engaged. Affleck had proposed to the 'Jenny From the Block' singer with a 6.1-carat Harry Winston pink solitaire diamond just a month prior after they started dating from early 2002, per People.

2. February 2003 premiere of Ben Affleck's 'Daredevil'

After Affleck supported the 'Atlas' star, it was Lopez's turn to support her beau. In February 2003, the engaged couple appeared together for the premiere of Affleck's 'Daredevil' where he starred alongside Jennifer Garner - who he married in 2005. Affleck and Garner got divorced in 2018, and share three children together - Violet, Fin, and Samuel.

3. 2003 Academy Awards

The only award show the estranged couple attended together during the first segment of their romance was the 2003 Academy Awards in Los Angeles. While Lopez wore a mint green flowy one-shoulder gown and frosted herself in Harry Winston jewelry, Affleck looked sharp in a black tuxedo.

4. July 2003 premiere of 'Gigli'

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck looked deliriously in love as they attended the red carpet of premiere of their film together - 'Gigli'. Sadly, the appearance also marked the last appearance of 'Bennifer 1.0' together before postponing their September 2003 wedding. The former couple separated briefly after postponing their wedding but got back together. They broke up finally in January 2004. 

5.  Venice Film Festival premiere in 2021

Bennifer 2.0 returned to the red carpet after almost two decades with the Venice Film Festival in September 2021. After reconnecting in July of that year, following their respective break ups with Ana de Armas (Affleck) and Alex Rodriguez (Lopez), they attended the Venice Film Festival premiere of Affleck's film 'The Last Duel'.
