13 celebs who are part of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 33: From Anna Delvey to Eric Roberts
'Good Morning America' officially announced the entire celebrity lineup visiting the ballroom this season, along with their professional partners, on Wednesday, September 4. Phaedra Parks from 'Real Housewives', Tori Spelling from 'Beverly Hills, 90210', and infamous scammer Anna Delvey, are among the celebrities putting on their dancing shoes this season. The cast also includes gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik, former 'Bachelor' Joey Graziadei, and former 'Bachelorette' Jenn Tran of Bachelor Nation. Uncover the complete list of competitors who will be dancing on 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 33.
1. Tori Spelling (Pro Partner: Pasha Pashkov)
The 'Beverly Hills, 90210' alum is set to make her much-awaited ballroom debut this autumn. Longtime 'DWTS' fans will undoubtedly be happy with the casting choice because they have been eyeing her as a "dream" competitor for years. Moreover, the 51-year-old actress already has a strong connection to the show because she and her former co-star Brian Austin Green competed on Season 30 of the popular ABC series alongside Sharna Burgess, per Page Six.
2. Jenn Tran (Pro Partner: Sasha Farber)
The reality TV personality, who recently landed the lead role in 'The Bachelorette', will be giving up roses for Rumba. Tran, 26, is the next in line for the coveted mirrorball, following the path set by former stars of 'The Bachelorette' Kaitlyn Bristowe, Hannah Brown, and Charity Lawson. Last fall, Lawson finished fourth with Artem Chigvintsev, while Bristowe and Brown finished first with their respective partners, Artem Chigvintsev and Alan Bersten. Tran stated to 'GMA' that her success on 'The Bachelorette' will inspire her to excel on 'Dancing with the Stars', per ABC News.
3. Danny Amendola (Pro Partner: Witney Carson)
Producers of 'DWTS' have previously worked with several former NFL players, and this season is no different. Former NFL wide receiver Danny Amendola captained the New England Patriots to two Super Bowl victories during his career. Amendola, 38, won two Super Bowls with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots during his 13 seasons as a wide receiver in the NFL. The competitor will dance with Witney Carson, the former mirrorball champion who is returning to the professional ranks for the first time in two years.
4. Anna Delvey (Pro Partner: Ezra Sosa)
The so-called "fake heiress" Anna "Delvey" Sorokin is well-known for her financial misdeeds and opulent lifestyle, which served as the basis for the book 'My Friend Anna: The True Story of a Fake Heiress' and the Emmy-nominated Netflix series 'Inventing Anna'. Since 2022, Delvey, 33, has been under house arrest. The constraints have recently been relaxed and she has been granted special permission to participate in 'DWTS' and visit the Los Angeles set where the competition is recorded.
5. Dwight Howard (Pro Partner: Daniella Karagach)
Professional basketball player Dwight Howard, who spent eight of his 18 NBA seasons with the Orlando Magic, is also participating in 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 33. The NBA star, 38, has won numerous awards, including eight NBA All-Star selections, eight NBA Team selections, five All-Defensive Team selections, and three Defensive Player of the Year titles. Howard stated on 'GMA' that he had "been dancing my whole life, but not ballroom dancing."
6. Chandler Kinney (Pro Partner: Brandon Armstrong)
Despite her most well-known roles in TV series such as 'Girl Meets World' and 'K.C. Undercover', actress Chandler Kinney also possesses some dance training. Kinney, 24, previously attended the Los Angeles Ballet Academy and the Debbie Allen Dance Academy. Fans can watch Kinney in the HBO Max series 'Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin' and 'Pretty Little Liars: Summer School' alongside her upcoming appearance on 'DWTS'. Announcing that she had danced as a child, Kinney told 'GMA' that she was both "nervous" and "excited" while praising the skilled professionals and cast.
7. Ilona Maher (Pro Partner: Alan Bersten)
Professional rugby player Ilona Maher assisted the United States women's rugby team in winning a bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Maher, 28, is a two-time Olympian and bronze medallist for Team USA Rugby Sevens. Maher also appeared on the September digital cover of Sports Illustrated. Though Maher described the Olympics as her "life goal," she revealed that she was preparing for the ballroom.
8. Brooks Nader (Pro Partner: Gleb Savchencko)
Model Brooks Nader won the 2019 Swim Search open casting call and has since made multiple appearances on the pages of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She is partnered with Russian dancer Gleb Savchenko, whose imaginative choreography will probably capture Nader's fun personality. Despite having some dance experience while in high school, Nader told 'GMA' that this would be "a new challenge" and that she has been "so excited for it."
9. Stephen Nedoroscik (Pro Partner: Rylee Arnold)
The Olympic gymnast was the first celebrity to be named as a Season 33 competitor. He expressed, "I’m very excited. I’m hoping to bring some [gymnastics] moves … I want to have fun with it," during his interview on 'GMA' in August. The 25-year-old athlete will undoubtedly be one to watch if his incredible pommel horse performance at the Paris Olympics is any indication of the abilities he intends to bring to the ballroom. "The Olympics was so stressful. It's very difficult. But I've also never danced, so I'm really nervous about what's going to happen," he told 'GMA'.
10. Phaedra Parks (Pro Partner: Val Chmerkovskiy)
Phaedra Parks is an attorney and businesswoman who appeared in seven seasons of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' from 2010 to 2017. Given that Parks, 50, is paired with the present winner of the show, Val Chmerkovskiy, it is reasonable to say that her chances of succeeding in the competition are great. "Everybody knows I'm sassy, classy and some of my friends are a wee bit trashy, but if you come for this Mirrorball, it will get nasty," Parks told 'GMA'.
11. Eric Roberts (Pro Partner: Britt Stewart)
The 68-year-old actor, who has received multiple Golden Globe nominations and an Oscar nomination over the years, is also competing for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. Along with his work in movies like 'King of the Gypsies', 'Star 80', and 'Runaway Train', fans may also know him as actress Julia Roberts' brother and 'Scream Queens' and 'American Horror Story' actress Emma Roberts' father. Roberts said to 'GMA' that he was "like a mile and a half" out of his comfort zone accepting this role.
12. Reginald VelJohnson (Pro Partner: Emma Slater)
Actor VelJohnson, 72, who is best known for playing Carl Winslow on the hit sitcom 'Family Matters', will also be showcasing his dancing prowess this season. He is also known for playing Al Powell in the films 'Die Hard' and 'Die Hard 2'. He has also made appearances in several other noteworthy films, including 'Avengers: Endgame', 'The Prayer Box', 'Station 19', and 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine'. When asked if he is prepared for his new role, VelJohnson told 'GMA' that "America is going to be shocked."
13. Joey Graziadei (Pro Partner: Jenna Johnson)
Tennis coach Joey Graziadei—who initially became a part of Bachelor Nation after finishing second on Charity Lawson's season of 'The Bachelorette'—is also joining the cast of 'DWTS' Season 33. His professional partner previously participated in the dancing competition series as Joe "Grocery Store Joe" Amabile's partner during Season 27. Johnson and Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon won Season 26 of 'DWTS'.
