The boy's age and the identities of the victims were not disclosed by the police right away. The shooting occurred in the Green Valley Ranch neighborhood of northeast Denver, in the 5000 block of North Orleans Court, at 1:23 in the morning on Sunday.

A statement was released by authorities on Sunday that a shooting occurred at a late-night party in a Denver home when uninvited guests showed up. Two people were killed and four more were injured, according to Fox News.

The police withheld the victims' identities and the age of the boy for a while. At 1:23 on Sunday, Feb 4, morning, a gunman opened fire in the 5000 block of North Orleans Court, in the northeast Denver neighborhood of Green Valley Ranch.

Multiple shots were fired during the conflict

According to Towle, the shooting did not seem to be random. The altercation started when some guests, who weren't invited to the party, showed up at the celebration.

Evidence shows that multiple shots were fired during the conflict that escalated to gunfire. According to police, the boy who was killed didn't seem to be a part of the altercation.

A neighbor described the shooting at the house as "terrifying" to FOX31 Denver. "The whole reason we got cameras is cause we feel unsafe and we just want to feel safe in this neighborhood," said the neighbor.

"It’s crazy to think someone my age was doing something malicious," the neighbor added.

The inquiry is still being conducted. As of Sunday, February 4, no suspects had been identified or arrested.
