5 celeb children attending the same college as Barron Trump: From Deacon Phillippe to Chance Combs
Barron Trump surprised many with his choice of school when he started attending classes at the New York University's Stern School of Business instead of attending his father Donald Trump's alma mater, Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania. Having said that, NYU has been a popular destination for the celebrities' schooling over the years. Many A-listers including Lady Gaga, Pedro Pascal, and Whoopi Goldberg call the namesake university of the Big Apple their alma mater. Similarly, many celebs like to send their children to NYU for their formal education, and Barron might come across some of them while on campus. Here are five celebrity children that are currently enrolled at the university.
1. Deacon Phillippe (Son of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe)
Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe's son, Deacon Phillippe, is all grown up now as he has already completed two of his undergrad years in NYU after starting college in 2022. The budding musician and actor initially lived in a dorm where he recorded his first album. Deacon, who appeared in two episodes of 'Never Have I Ever', moved into a bigger two-story West Village apartment a year later. While his 'Legally Blonde' star mother revealed she is a fan of Kamala Harris by liking Taylor Swift's endorsement post, her son has not yet shown any preference for either of the two candidates.
2. Chance Combs (Daughter of Sean 'Diddy' Combs)
Sean "Diddy" Combs' daughter, Chance Combs, joined NYU concurrently with Barron. The budding musician chose to enroll at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, a training ground for artists, after graduating high school in Los Angeles. After receiving the acceptance letter, she wrote on her Instagram in December, "NYU! Dreams do come true!!" while sharing the acceptance email, as per Nicki Swift.
3. Ryder Robinson (Son of Kate Hudson)
Like Deacon Phillippe, Ryder Robinson also has two famous parents. While his mother is rom-com star Kate Hudson, his father is The Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson. Ryder, who began attending NYU in 2022, is likely to have made acquaintance with Deacon.
4. Ava McIntosh (Daughter of Amy Robach)
Another star child that Barron might come across is Ava McIntosh, the daughter of the former 'Good Morning America' host Amy Robach. In March 2021, Robach celebrated McIntosh's acceptance to Tisch, by writing on her Instagram, "She was a performer at heart from the moment she entered this world — full of empathy and compassion — she's always made me proud with who she is but it's incredible to see where she's going and what she will become!" As it looks like, Ava has made good use of her education as she released her first album 'A Place To Come Home To' in May 2023.
5. Jack Rucker (Son of Darius Rucker)
Two of Hootie & the Blowfish frontman Darius Tucker's children have had the honor of attending NYU. While his daughter, Daniella Rose Rucker, graduated from the university in 2023, his son, Jack Rucker, is yet to wrap up his course. Though a year senior, Darius, who made a music video with Deacon, might like to say hello to the former first son if they ever come across each other.
