Barron Trump, the youngest son of former president Donald Trump, has made quite an impression in the public eye since turning 18. During a rare appearance at a Trump campaign rally in Florida in July 2024, Barron, now a young adult, caught everyone's attention—not just for his presence, but for his astonishing height. As he waved to the crowd, social media erupted with comments, all centered around one topic: just how tall Barron has grown. Despite the relatively low profile Barron has maintained over the years, one thing is clear—his height is a topic of fascination, especially for his father, Donald Trump. The former president has frequently bragged about his son’s stature in public forums. "I have a beautiful boy, Barron. He's a big boy, 6 foot 9. Yeah, 6 foot 9, yeah. And I couldn't get him to play basketball. He plays soccer," Trump said during an interview with Logan Paul in June 2024. While Trump is known for his flair for exaggeration, Barron’s height of 6 feet 9 inches is indeed remarkable, making him as tall as some of the NBA's most well-known players. Although Barron has chosen soccer over basketball, his height places him among some elite company on the basketball court. Here are the top five NBA stars who share the same towering height as Barron.

1. LeBron James

LeBron James, one of the most iconic figures in the NBA, shares Barron's 6-foot-9-inch height. However, that is where the similarities end. James is widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time, with a career that has spanned over two decades. Despite turning 39 in December 2023, James continues to dominate the court, showing no signs of slowing down. James made history when he became the youngest player to ever step onto an NBA court, debuting in October 2003 for the Cleveland Cavaliers against the Sacramento Kings. Since then, he has shattered numerous records, including becoming the highest-scoring player in NBA history. His legacy is cemented not only by his athletic achievements but also by his impact off the court. However, James’ relationship with Trump is anything but friendly. In September 2017, after Trump "uninvited" the Golden State Warriors from the White House, James took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice his opinion. "U bum," he tweeted, signaling his disdain for the then-president. James has been vocal about his political views, often criticizing Trump’s leadership. In a February 2018 interview titled 'Rolling with the Champion', James stated, "The number one job in America, the point of person, is someone who doesn't understand the people… And really don't give a f**k about the people."

2. Bam Adebayo

Bam Adebayo, the Miami Heat’s center-forward, also stands at 6 feet 9 inches, matching Barron in height. Adebayo entered the NBA in 2017, and while his career is still relatively young compared to that of James, he has made a significant impact. With a salary of $32,600,060 per season, Adebayo is anything but a rookie when it comes to earning power. Like James, Adebayo has shown he is not a fan of Trump. In August 2024, Adebayo supported gymnast Simone Biles after she seemingly criticized Trump’s comments at the National Association of Black Journalists convention. Biles had posted "I love my black job" on X, to which Adebayo responded with a thumbs-up and called it the "toughest quote tweet ever."

3. Jarrett Allen

Jarrett Allen, the Cleveland Cavaliers center, also shares Barron's height at 6 feet 9 inches. Despite suffering from multiple injuries in 2024, including ankle and rib issues, Allen remains a key player for the Cavaliers. His talents have not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by his signing of a $91 million, three-year contract extension with the Cavs in July 2024, which includes a guaranteed payout of $131 million over five seasons. Unlike some of his fellow NBA stars, Allen keeps his political views close to the chest. However, fans have occasionally drawn comparisons between Allen and Trump, often in jest. For instance, in October 2022, one X user remarked, "#Cavs Jarrett Allen doing his best Donald-Trump-on-Twitter impersonation. He has 3 blocks in 12 minutes."

4. Kyle Kuzma

Kyle Kuzma, standing tall at 6 feet 9 inches, is another NBA star who shares Barron's height. The Washington Wizards small forward has made a name for himself since being drafted by the Brooklyn Nets in 2017, although his salary of $25,568,182 per season places him slightly below some of his taller peers. Kuzma appears to align with some of Trump’s political views, making him a potential ally for Barron if the young man ever decided to transition from soccer to basketball. Kuzma’s political leanings became evident in July 2024, when he criticized the Democratic Party on X, expressing concerns about the lack of a nominee to challenge Trump in the upcoming presidential election. He also showed skepticism towards Joe Biden’s presidency, sharing a GIF of a confused baseball player in response to Biden’s comments on the middle class.

Brandon Miller, the Charlotte Hornets forward, rounds out the list of NBA players who are as tall as Barron. Drafted in 2023, Miller is still in the early stages of his NBA career, with a salary of $10,880,400 per season—a significant sum for a newcomer but modest compared to the league’s veterans. Miller tends to avoid politics on social media, focusing instead on his career and performance. His dedication to the sport has paid off, as he was named the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month for three consecutive months in 2024, highlighting his impressive debut in the league. However, Miller’s early career has not been without controversy. Before joining the NBA, Miller was involved in a legal case during his time in Alabama. In January 2023, he was linked to a shooting incident near the Tuscaloosa college campus, where a gun he allegedly provided to teammate Darius Miles was used in the murder of 23-year-old Jamea Harris. Despite the serious nature of the allegations, Miller maintained his innocence and was not charged.
