8 celebrity couples who rekindled their romance after filing for divorce

Real-life love stories in Hollywood can be as engrossing and compelling as the reel ones. While divorces can be painful, they can even strengthen the relationships. From Sylvester Stallone to Cardi B, there are certain stars in Hollywood who have found love again with the same person after filing for divorce. 

1. Cardi B and Offset

Offset and Cardi B's marriage has it all! After tying the knot in September 2017, the pair had a tumultuous marriage that included cheating scandals and a roller-coaster relationship. Three years after tying the knot and two babies later, the couple filed for a divorce in September, 2020. However, the duo reconciled after a few weeks and have since been continuing their marriage. Recently, the fans of the rapper are suspecting that 'The WAP' rapper is pregnant with their third child together. 

2. Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green had a decade-long marriage after first meeting on the set of ABC series 'Hope & Faith' in 2004. After dating for six years, the couple tied the knot in 2010 and welcomed three boys together. However, the harmony in their marriage was disrupted in May 2020 when Fox first filed for divorce. However, they reconciled soon, only to file divorce again in November, 2020. Guess the second chance didn't work for them! Currently, Green is dating Sharna Burgess and Fox has moved on with Machine Gun Kelly.

Elon Musk and Talulah Riley married and "unmarried" quite a few number of times during their short romance. After first connecting in 2008, the couple allegedly tied the knot in 2010 but separated soon. They reunited in 2013 and married again! The billionaire businessman soon filed for a divorce only to withdraw it in August 2013. The pair finally parted ways in 2016.

Patrick Dempsey and Jillian Fink are one of those couples who grabbed the second chance in romance with open hands. After first meeting Jillian in her salon in 1994, Patrick tied the knot with her in 1999. 16 years and three children later, the couple had a brief separation and filed for divorce in 2015. They, however, did not lose hope and attended marital counseling and reconnected after a year. Since then their relationship has improved and they are living a happier life, per Us Weekly.

5. Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus

Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus separated after almost a three-decade long marriage. However, their marriage over the years was not without turbulences. The couple tied the knot in 1993 and welcomed three children together - Miley Cyrus, Noah Cyrus and Braison Cyrus. Billy also adopted Tish's two children. The country singer first filed for divorce from his wife in October 2010, only to withdraw it in May 2011. However, two years later, in June 2013, Tish filed for a divorce. In July 2013, the couple called off their divorce and went on to celebrate their 25th anniversary in 2018. Unfortunately, the marriage did not last and the pair called it quits in 2022. Currently both of them are married to different individuals - Billy to Australian singer Firerose and Tish to actor Dominic Purcell. 

6. Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin

Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin got their happy ending in 2024 after going through a short patch of separation. Twenty five years after tying the knot, Flavin filed for divorce from the 'Rocky' actor in August 2022. However, two months into their separation, they called off the divorce and rekindled their romance once more. Since then the couple is only going stronger. 

7. Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Kroy Biermann

NFL star Kroy Biermann and TV personality Kim Zolciak-Biermann were married for 12 years when the couple filed for divorce in May 2023. However, after two months of a public feud and a nasty legal battle, the couple reconciled and Zolciak took back the divorce petition.

Over the last four years, Ray J and Princess Love filed for divorce four times and reconciled thrice. After first separating in May 2020, they reunited in July. However, again in September 2020, they restarted their divorce proceedings. After the divorce petition was dismissed, Ray J filed for divorce again in October 2021. While they reunited again in March 2023, per the latest reports, the couple separated again in February 2024, per People.
