Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's quasi-royal Colombia tour recently concluded on August 18. The Duchess of Sussex - as she promised during her Nigeria tour in May - has incorporated a colorful palette. Markle's sartorial choices for her international tour comprised an eclectic mix of color and texture that presented the Duchess' wardrobe as a prime case for fashion books. Markle's husband, Prince Harry acted as the perfect foil as he let the duchess shine through her glamorous fashion choices.

1. Day 1 - Veronica Beard set

Meghan Markle kicked off her Colombia tour in full business mode as she opted for a navy blue suit from the American label - Veronica Beard. The elegant two-piece suit featured cigarette trousers paired with a halterneck waistcoat top. Apart from featuring bold button details, the top boasted a polo collar that elevated the look of the contemporary suit. The mother-of-two stashed all her essentials in a Loro Piana Loom Bag L32 in the color white while visiting Colombian Vice President Francia Marquez. Markle completed her lookbook for the occasion with black pumps, her gold Cartier 'Love' bangle, and a watch, per Hello!

2. Day 1 - Johanna Ortiz dress

After showing off her business look in a national label, the duchess leaned to support a home-grown Colombian brand, Johanna Ortiz. For her visit to the Delia Zapata Art Center in Bogota, Markle wore the brand's 'Navajo Weaver Metallic Tweed Maxi', featuring a cutout detail and thigh-high slit. She completed her look with Jimmy Choo's Etana 50 Mules in tan and Cartier jewels. 

3. Day 1 - Victoria Beckham shirt

For her third look of the day, Markle turned toward her former friend Victoria Beckham's label. For the glamorous monochromatic look, while speaking at the ‘Responsible Digital Future’ forum, the 'Suits' actress paired her brown silk trousers by La Ligne with a slightly different brown-toned shirt from Victoria Beckham. She elevated her subtle monochromatic look with heaps of jewelry from Birks and Cartier. 

4. Day 2 - Loro Piana blazer

During her second day's outing at Colegio La Giralda in Bogota on August 16, the Los Angeles native went back to the basics by pairing black cropped trousers with a white button-down shirt. She curated her outfit by pairing a camel-toned Loro Piana's ‘Jamilla’ linen blazer. The star of the show was, however, Princess Diana's butterfly earring. She completed the look with Chanel's beige and black slingbacks and a Cesta Collective crossbody bag. 

5. Day 3 - Johanna Ortiz set

Meghan Markle opted for another Johanna Ortiz creation during her visit to the Caribbean drumming school, Escuela Tambores de Cabildo. For the look, she opted for Ortiz's 'Deep Ocean Tie-Detailed Silk Crop Top', paired with 'Hello Sailor Printed Silk Maxi Skirt', from the same brand. The beachy attire was accentuated by Cesca Collective's crossbody bag and Aquazurra's strappy sandals in suede.

6. Day 3 - Posse pencil skirt

Markle's final look for the third day was another summery monochromatic set. For the visit to San Basilio de Palenque Village in Cartagena, the royal opted for Posse's 'Emma Pencil Skirt' in ivory, paired with Argent's 'Ribbed Crewneck Tank' top. She completed her look with black T-strap sandals and a boater hat. 

7. Day 4 - Silvia Tcherassi sequinned skirt

Meghan Markle honored Colombian artistry again when she chose an exquisite sequined skirt from the Colombian creative Silvia Tcherassi while visiting the Afro Women and Power Forum at the Municipal Theater of Cali. Meghan matched the designer piece with Mango's 'Paula shirt' that formed the perfect unassuming foil for her statement skirt to glimmer. For her jewelry, she opted for the 'Gold Fan Earrings', gifted by Vice President Francia Marquez.

8. Day 4 - Andres Otalora Dress

For her last look of the tour, Markle went full tropical, in a white and green poplin dress from Colombian designer Andres Otalora. The duchess let her tresses fall over her shoulders as she showed off her Cartier jewels while attending the Petronio Alvarez Music Festival.
