The 30th Screen Actors Guild Award show has officially concluded with stars creating several memorable moments on stage. The SAG Awards, which has provided a platform for multiple nostalgia-evoking reunions, also witnessed the emotional celebration of Barbra Streisand winning the Lifetime Achievement Award. Here is a list of eight such unforgettable highlights from the 30th Screen Actors Guild Awards that took place at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall on February 24, 2024, in Los Angeles, California.

1. Melissa McCarthy gets Billie Eilish's autograph on her face

In one of the most remarkable moments of the show, Billie Eilish autographed her "super-fan" Melissa McCarthy on her forehead. After gushing about Eilish continuously for at least two to three minutes, McCarthy admitted she met Eilish "in utero." She revealed she was a student of Eilish's mother when she was pregnant with her talented daughter. After Eilish declined to sign on McCarthy's dress, 'The Little Mermaid' star suggested Eilish could sign on her forehead, per Toofab.

2. Reunion of 'Devil Wears Prada' cast

Emily Blunt, Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway had an iconic 'Devil Wears Prada' cast reunion as they presented the first award of the night. Streep initiated the heartwarming reunion as she was introduced first on the stage. The 'Mamma Mia!' actress said, "I forgot my glasses. Clearly," while squinting at the teleprompter.  She continued, "And the envelope. It's an age-old question, where does the character end and the actor begin." Soon Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway came on stage to dramatically chastise their on-screen boss from 'Devil Wears Prada' - as a hark back to her unsparing character from the film.

3. Idris Elba's swearing in front of Oprah Winfrey

Idris Elba had a hilarious moment on stage that he would surely remember for years to come. At the beginning of the show, as he was lecturing on how to handle coarse language on streaming platforms, Elba said, "Don't say anything you wouldn't say in front of Oprah Winfrey." As the camera focused on Oprah, he looked disgruntled, and reacted, "F**k, that was Oprah!"

4. Reunion of 'Modern Family' cast

The 2024 SAG Awards witnessed the much-awaited reunion of the 'Modern Family' cast members as Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Ed O’Neill, Eric Stonestreet, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson came on stage to reveal the winner of Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. The former cast members later engaged in a discussion about their endeavors after the conclusion of the show. 

5. Drunk Pedro Pascal was on the verge of a panic attack

Pedro Pascal, who went on stage drunk, admitted he was almost on the verge of getting a panic attack. After receiving the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series award, Pascal said in his acceptance speech, "This is wrong for a number of reasons," before adding, "I'm a little drunk. I thought I could get drunk." Fumbling through his speech, he continued, "Thank you, HBO. Jeeze Louise, I'm making a fool of myself,"  and shouted, "Thank you so much for this!" He continued adorably, "I've been in the union since 1999, so this an incredible f**king honor - we're on Netflix," before admitting, "The nominees, all of you, I can't remember any of your names right now." After thanking everyone, he abruptly announced, "I'm gonna have a panic attack and I'm gonna leave." Following the announcement, he immediately left the stage.

6. 'Breaking Bad' reunion

'Breaking Bad' cast members also joined the long list of heartwarming reunions at the 30th SAG Awards. The cast members of 'Breaking Bad' including RJ Mitte, Jonathan Banks, Bryan Cranston, Anna Gunn, Betsy Brandt, Dean Norris, Aaron Paul, and Bob Odenkirk were present on stage to give away the Ensemble in a Drama award.

7. Barbra Streisand's Lifetime Achievement Award made stars emotional

As Barbra Streisand won the Lifetime Achievement honor, several stars were overcome with emotion. Apart from Jennifer Aniston's moving introduction, Anne Hathaway, Hannah Waddingham, and Emma Stone were seen tearing up as Streisand reflected on her career.

8. Robert Downey Jr praises Mel Gibson

Robert Downey Jr, after winning the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture award thanked Mel Gibson for his contribution to his career. Gibson, who has been criticized for his homophobic, racist, and antisemitic remarks, received praise from the 'Oppenheimer' star. Downey then asked the audience to join him in “forgiving my friend his trespasses, offering him the same clean slate you have given me and allowing him to continue his great and ongoing contribution to our collective art without shame," per The Daily Beast.
