Chuck Norris' journey to fame
Long before becoming a pop culture icon, Norris built his foundation in martial arts, earning multiple black belts and establishing himself as a disciplined fighter.
That reputation helped launch his film career during the late 1970s and 1980s.
He went on to star in action hits such as 'The Delta Force' and 'Missing in Action', becoming synonymous with the era’s no-nonsense action hero.
His popularity surged again in the 1990s when he took on the lead role in 'Walker', 'Texas Ranger', which introduced him to a broader audience.
Although he largely stepped back from acting in later years, making only occasional appearances like 'The Expendables 2', his presence remained strong on social media.
Norris is survived by his wife Gena O’Kelley, his children, and grandchildren. Even in his final days, he remained active publicly, just days before his passing, he marked his 86th birthday with a post declaring “I don’t age, I level up.”
