WASHINGTON, DC: At his lone public appearance of the week on Thursday, August 8, President Joe Biden expressed uncertainty about his actions and appeared confused.

An emcee had to remind him to leave a White House celebration of the Texas Rangers' World Series victory, which he did after honoring the athletes.

Joe Biden, 81, concluded his campaign for a second term on July 21 following concerns from fellow Democrats about his mental sharpness. Nevertheless, he has maintained that he will be able to fulfil his presidential duties until January 20, 2025.

The Texas Rangers visited the White House to celebrate their 2023 World Series victory, highlighting their triumphant return to the city where their franchise was born. President Biden praised the team's resilience and the city's growing accustomed to championships in football, basketball, and hockey.

The visit marked a rare public appearance by Biden since dropping his bid for reelection and endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris to lead the Democratic ticket.

“All right, what am I doing now?” Biden stated in the East Room of the White House after concluding the event by accepting a customized baseball jersey and cowboy boots from the baseball team.

When a military aide went to pick up the gifts, Biden appeared to make a joke, asking, "Are you stealing my jersey?"

Biden, having hosted numerous events in that very room, stood awkwardly, scanning for guidance. At one moment, he raised both hands in a gesture that seemed to question what his next steps should be.

His confusion was cleared when the emcee announced, “Distinguished guests, please remain in your seats as the president departs.”

Upon hearing the announcement, Biden swung his arms in a playful jogging motion while exiting the stage. After greeting two children in the front row, he turned and offered a military-style salute to the Dallas-Fort Worth team.

Mike Johnson demands Joe Biden to resign as POTUS

Prominent Republicans and a few Democrats have demanded Joe Biden should step down as president due to their belief that he is unfit to lead the most powerful country in the world.

“If Joe Biden is not fit to run for president, he is not fit to serve as president. He must resign the office immediately,” House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La) said last month, following Biden's resignation as the Democratic nominee for president and his endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris as his replacement.

Rep Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-Wash) made a statement last month that “Americans deserve to feel their president is fit enough to do the job".

“I doubt the president’s judgment about his health, his fitness to do the job, and whether he is the one making important decisions about our country, rather than unelected advisers,” she said.

Internet mocks Joe Biden over his confused expression at White House event

As soon as Joe Biden's recent video surfaced across social media, users started reacting to it.

A user wrote, "He does his idiotic 1-2 step jog. He is so pathetic! Then he, "shockingly," stops to talk to a little boy."

Another added, "Every liberal should be embarrassed for electing him. This is who you wanted to f**king follow?"

The third commentator asked, "When does the elder abuse stop? OMG."

"You should really choose your words more carefully," one slammed.

A person wrote, "The country has obviously been on autopilot the entire time."

Other chimed in asking, "Anyone got a CC of this mumble?"
