LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Adam Devine believes his wife Chloe Bridges is more in love with him now than earlier.

Speaking with E! News, the 'Pitch Perfect' star, who is now a father, said, “I think she likes me more. For a while, for several years, I would catch her just sort of staring at me from across the living room and I'm like, 'She thinks she blew it. She thinks she chose way wrong.’”

“I think since she saw me as a dad, she's like, 'Whew, OK,’” he mentioned.

Adam Devine is ‘proud’ of wife Chloe Bridges

Praising Chloe Bridges for being a great mother, 40-year-old Adam Devine shared, “I'm so proud of her. I'm in the middle of shooting 'Righteous Gemstones', so I'm working 12, 14-hour days. She's taking the brunt of the parenting responsibility right now and she's really killing it.”

Devine, however, not only praises his actress wife but also their 7-month-old son Beau.

He told the publication, “I know most people say they have a great child, but you don't! I do. I've got the No. 1 kid. He came out of my wife!”

Adam Devine does not find parenthood scary

‘Workaholics’ actor Adam Devine reflected on his new fatherhood journey as he explained, “I feel like people try to scare you so much at the beginning…where they're like, 'Oooh, your life's about to change, everything that you enjoy you're never going to do ever again'."

“I'm kind of excited because now I can use him to get out of things. No matter where you're at, 'Oh, I gotta go, I can't, 'cause the baby'. And then he'll look over [innocently widening his eyes] with his two teeth, and everyone's like, 'Whatever you got to do! Precious child, take care of him!'”

Adam Devine calls himself a ‘fat pig’

In another interview, Adam Devine talked about the weight which he put on during wife Chloe Bridges’ pregnancy.

He told Page Six, “Her mental bounce-back was super fast for her, and her physical bounce-back was so annoying! She was pregnant, and meanwhile, I was just eating everything with her and gained, like, 25 pounds.”

‘The Out-Laws’ star further noted, “I was just a fat pig. I was just a little garbage can of a person. Just a garbage disposal. I was so gross.”

Adam Devine feels he was 'born to be a dad’

Adam Devine said he has started to work out to get back in shape but wife Chloe Bridges “bounced back in, like, three weeks".

“She looked like herself, and it was so annoying. And [she] didn’t work out!” the comedian shared.

“Meanwhile, I’m working out, like, six days a week to try to shed the walrus that I’ve become.”

Despite all this, Devine is loving his experience of fatherhood.

“It’s great! We love it. I’m honestly just having a blast. I feel like I’m coming into my own as a dad. I feel like I was born to be [a dad]. I’ve always sort of looked like a dad. I’ve always given dad vibes. … So now I’ve fully become myself.”
