LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Adam Scott shed light on his humble beginnings as a pizza delivery before his acting career took off.

The actor also talked about his fans continuing to bring up the quirks of his 'Parks and Recreation' sitcom character Ben Wyatt, while speaking about his pre-fame career as a pizza delivery guy, with People.

The 51-year-old actor laughingly shared, "Calzones are a thing that I feel almost like Calzones are going to be on my gravestone or something."

Appreciating the humorous nature of the ongoing joke, Scott credited the show's creator Mike Schur for the references he continues to receive.

"Every time a calzone gets sent to me in a restaurant or anything, I text Mike and I'm like, 'Just so you know, this thing is still happening,'" he said.

The 'Severance' star acknowledged the irony of his past experiences now becoming a recurring theme in his life as he reminisced about his time delivering pizzas and calzones.

He revealed that he was once a "pizza delivery guy" and would also deliver pockets of cheese, dough, and sauce earlier.

Scott shared that he knows that the Calzone reference will "never die," adding, "It's so fun. I really love that show. I was into it before I even joined. I was a big fan."

Speaking about his co-stars of 'Parks and Recreation' which ran for seven seasons from 2009 to 2015, Scott said, "I miss everybody. We all are on a text chain, and at least once a week we all add to the chain, and it's great."

"Everyone's so great. I really miss them. They're the best. It was so fun. No one took it for granted. We all had a blast."

"I know people say that about their shows. It's annoying, but it really was so fun, and everyone... got that it was special, and no one was sick of going to work," he added.
