'Aging in Hollywood is really hard': Jennifer Love Hewitt slams trolls over claims of her being 'unrecognizable' with filters
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Love Hewitt has slammed the trolls who called her “unrecognizable” after she shared her photos in August following a hair transformation.
The 44-year-old actress asserted, as per E! News, “Aging in Hollywood is really hard. You can't do anything right.”
Giving an insight into her statement, Hewitt said, “I was getting my hair done and I had not a stitch of makeup on. So, I threw on a filter. I really gave it no thought.”
‘This is crazy’
However, some people on the Internet were not kind to her as she revealed, “A bunch of people were like, ‘Jennifer Love Hewitt is unrecognizable.'"
“‘She's unrecognizable, so she's gone to filters because she doesn't want us to know how bad she actually looks now in her 40s.'”

At the time when Hewitt faced hate, she doubled down on filters by posting more heavily edited photos and wrote, “So many people said I look different. I look the same as always. Couldn't look more natural...Filters don't change you that much.”
Jennifer Love Hewitt on troll trouble
However, trolls did not step back as one of them asked, “She's just defending herself and why is she defending?”
“I realized I can do no right,” Hewitt mentioned, before noting that she does get affected by people’s opinions. She added, “To pretend that we don't is a lie.”

This came after earlier this year on the occasion of her birthday, the ‘9-1-1’ star posted on Instagram, “Woke up at 4 am and was 44!"
