‘Aging is not terrifying’: Meg Ryan reveals that she is happy to embrace her 60s and ignore rumors
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Renowned actress Meg Ryan is not worried about growing older. Ryan of 'When Harry Met Sally' fame, celebrated her birthday on November 19, and revealed that she is loving her 60s.
The actress, who welcomed her 62nd birthday, is reportedly embracing the process of aging, according to OK! Magazine.
‘I love where I’m at’
Ryan shared, “Our culture is so obsessed with youth. As an old person now, I love my age.”

She continued, “I love where I’m at. Aging is not that terrifying. We’re all doing it."
“I wish someone had told me earlier, 'Just relax. It is what it is. Don’t pay attention to the obstacles,’” she added.
‘With age, you get to a place where you say what you mean’
The ‘You've Got Mail' star further stated, “There’s a time in your teens and 20s where you’re trying on personalities to figure out who you are, who to be.”

‘Meanness and hatred are just so stupid’
Ryan also addressed cosmetic procedure rumors about her as she asserted, “I just can’t. It’s not worth it.”
“Of course that would hurt someone’s feelings, but there are so many more interesting things to think about. Meanness and hatred are just so stupid,” she shared.
‘I felt isolated’
The ‘Top Gun’ actress was recently seen in ‘What Happens Later’ after being on a long break from the limelight.
An insider revealed that she “enjoyed her time away from Hollywood and was happy to not have to deal with all the BS that comes with being famous.”
In an interview, Ryan reportedly said, “It's nice to think of it as a job and not a lifestyle. And that is a great way of navigating it for me.”

Besides, in an older interview, she added, “I didn't feel like I knew enough anymore about myself or the world to reflect it as an actor. I felt isolated. I felt like I was behind a window looking at my life.”
