Noor Alfallah opens up about her equation with Al Pacino
While talking about her interest in films and her occupation, Alfallah candidly spoke about her relationship with 'The Godfather' star Al Pacino. She recalled that during a high society dinner one evening, she was seated beside the 83-year-old actor.
She shared that after speaking throughout the evening, they parted ways in a good note.
“I thought it was cool. I thought, wow, that’s Al Pacino. I went to film school, so I wasn’t dumb about who he was. He’s a very talented and unique person. But I had no intention of thinking like, oh, he is going to be my son’s father one day,” shared Alfallah.
Neither did they exchange numbers that day nor met again in another year. However, destiny was something else planned out as they met fortuitously at the restaurant E Baldi, and they established a friendship.
Algfallah reminisced, “Then the pandemic hit,” before adding, “Al lives down the street from my house and we started spending every day together, playing chess and watching movies. It was like film school with Al Pacino."
She recalled, "‘Did you ever see 'Scarface'?’ he asked me. ‘No,’ I answered, ‘Though I know the lines. Say hello to my little friend'."
Alfallah shared that they watched a number of movies together.
“He showed me some obscure movies he was in like one with Marthe Keller called 'Bobby Deerfield', which is now my favorite of all his films,” shared Alfallah.
Slowly, their friendship turned into something more, as she said, “I guess, it just became something more.”
