Alec Baldwin 'reaching his limit' with Hilaria but won’t divorce her despite feeling trapped: Source

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Alec and Hilaria Baldwin’s marriage has been in the news lately after she appeared to scold him during a red carpet interview with Extra TV.

Speculations have even begun regarding a possible divorce after the viral moment.

Last month, Hilaria was discussing their TLC reality TV show ‘The Baldwins’ on the red carpet of the Planet Hollywood Times Square opening party, when the actor interjected her and said, "It’s going to be great. You’re a winner." The former yoga instructor immediately fired back, saying, "When I’m talking, you’re not talking," as per Perez Hilton.

She then joked, "This is why we’ll just have to cut him out of the show."

The pair later released an Instagram video trying to downplay the moment. In it, the 66-year-old actor defined the red carpet interaction as him "manterrupting" and also called the apparent habit a "correctile dysfunction."

However, in another video, Alec said, "I need a change … I need a woman who understands me. I thought that was you, but I was mistaken," as per Page Six.

Now, a tipster has spilled that during the recent red-carpet appearance, "Hilaria really stole the spotlight, and not in a good way."

"While she was telling Alec to 'Shut up' during their interview, the tension was palpable, and you could practically see steam coming from his ears. Instead of acknowledging her over-the-top antics, she insisted her actions were just part of the fun. But they clearly weren't," they noted, as per Radar Online.

The insider further shared that the 'Glengarry Glen Ross' actor "managed to keep his cool on the outside, but insiders say he’s reaching his limit. But he won't jack in his marriage for the sake of his kids."

The couple, who tied the knot in 2012, shares seven children—Carmen Gabriela, 11, Rafael Thomas, nine, Leonardo Angel Charles, eight, Romeo Alejandro David, six, Eduardo "Edu" Pao Lucas and Maria Lucia Victoria, four, and Ilaria Catalina Irena, two.

The source also mentioned that the couple share "an odd" dynamic as Alec Baldwin "feels trapped. It's an awful scene, and you can’t help but wonder how long he can take it before he finally snaps."

During this difficult time, Alec apparently found comfort in his ex-wife, Kim Basinger, despite them going through a bitter divorce. They were married from 1993 to 2002 and share one daughter, Ireland Baldwin, 29. 

An insider claimed, "Kim is a source of great strength and he's grateful she still wants to talk to him after the hell he put her through," as per Radar Online.
