WASHINGTON, DC: Conspiracy theorist and Infowars founder Alex Jones said he was praying for President Donald Trump as he wanted him to be freed “from the demonic influences”. He believes Trump's thoughts are controlling someone else. "And I’m just so sad that whatever’s happened to him has totally changed the man he once was, because he did so much good," Jones remarked.

On Thursday, April 9, Trump shared a scathing message criticizing right-wing figures who have recently criticized him, especially over his decisions related to Iran. He named Jones, along with Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, and Candace Owens, and said, "They’re not ‘MAGA,’ they’re losers just trying to latch on to MAGA."

Jones is being sued by several victims' families for causing emotional and psychological harm after they lost their children in the Sandy Hook massacre. A Texas jury last month ordered Jones to pay $49.3 million to the parents of 6-year-old Jesse Lewis, one of 26 students and teachers killed in the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut. Alex Jones responds to Trump’s attack

Alex Jones responded soon after Trump’s comments, posting a video on X (formerly Twitter).

“Well, President Trump came out on Truth Social and attacked myself and all the original MAGA supporters today,” he said. “And I’m just so sad that whatever’s happened to him has totally changed the man he once was, because he did so much good.”

Jones suggested that Trump’s post was meant to shift attention away from comments made by First Lady Melania Trump earlier in the day, when she made an unexpected public statement about Jeffrey Epstein.

“So this reminds me of Melinda Gates, Melinda French, when she started turning against Bill (Gates), also over Epstein,” Jones continued. “So Trump’s got big problems, folks. And I am just so concerned about this country and the world.”

He also called the war in Iran a “total disaster” and said he continues to pray for the president. “I supported the old Trump who got so many good things done,” he added. “But at the end of the day, I just feel sorry for him and pray that God touches his heart and soul, and free him from the demonic influences that he’s under."

"I mean, it’s just that simple. This is a nightmare. We know the Democrats, the left, are absolutely terrible, but when Trump’s calling for wiping out whole civilizations and acting like a supervillain, I have to come out and say I don’t support it. It’s that simple,” the prominent conspiracy theorist added.

Jones later said, “So all I can say is this is a terrible day, and it’s a nightmare for America and the world, but I’m going to tell the truth.”

Trump lashes out at Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones

Trump pushed back hard against several right-wing critics after they questioned his stance on Iran. In a Truth Social post shared on Thursday, he used sharp language to describe them, calling them “losers” who speak only to attract attention.

“I know why Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones have all been fighting me for years, especially by the fact that they think it is wonderful for Iran, the Number One State Sponsor of Te**or, to have a Nuclear Weapon - Because they have one thing in common, Low IQs,” the commander-in-chief wrote.

“Look at their past, look at their record. They don’t have what it takes, and they never did! They’ve all been thrown off Television, lost their Shows, and aren’t even invited on TV because nobody cares about them, they’re NUT JOBS, TROUBLEMAKERS, and will say anything necessary for some ‘free’ and cheap publicity,” Trump fumed.

He called Jones "bankrupt" and argued that the 'Infowars' host says "some of the dumbest things, and lost his entire fortune, as he should have, for his horrendous attack on the families of the Sandy Hook shooting victims, ridiculously claiming it was a hoax. These so-called ‘pundits’ are LOSERS, and they always will be!”

Trump ended his nearly 500-word post with a strong message about his vision for the movement and the country. He said MAGA is focused on strength, winning, and stopping Iran from getting nuclear weapons. The POTUS also said the movement is about making the country great again and vouched that the US is currently the "'HOTTEST' COUNTRY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!"
