In the video, Kevin Manno who sat beside Ali Fedotowsky Manno said, “We always try to be open and honest."
He shared that a recent biopsy and CT scan confirmed the diagnosis.
“But I’m not freaking out,” Kevin assured fans, emphasizing the cancer’s treatability.

The diagnosis includes two malignant spots on the right side of Kevin’s thyroid, and doctors suspect it may have spread to a lymph node.
The full extent of the cancer’s spread will only be confirmed during his surgery scheduled for February 10.

“The prognosis is very good,” Manno said confidently.

Recalling a meeting with an oncologist, Fedotowsky shared, “The first thing he said to us was, ‘If you have to get cancer, this is the cancer you want to get.’”
The former 'Bachelorette' star noted that the oncologist referred to papillary thyroid cancer as a "boring cancer," which reassured them.
Manno humorously admitted to being “too positive,” to which Fedotowsky added, “You’ve been amazing through this whole thing.”

“If the surgeon gets in there and determines the whole thing has to be removed regardless, we will, of course, move forward with that," wrote Fedotowsky.
