Alix Earle calls herself 'open book' in candid discussion about personal life with Nylon: 'What you see is online'
FLORIDA, MIAMI: 'Hot Mess' podcast host and TikTok sensation Alix Earle has long been a chronic oversharer. The 22-year-old never hesitates to give her fans a behind-the-scenes look at her personal life.
Earle recently appeared as a new face for the Nylon magazine. She dubbed herself as an "open book" during the interview with the magazine.
Alix Earle discussed her relationship with Braxton Berrios
After keeping the NFL man's identity secret for months, Alix Earle revealed that she is in a relationship with Miami Dolphins wide receiver Braxton Berrios.
Earle, who is renowned for her opening up about her personal life has been disclosing more about their relationship on her podcast. She asserts that everything you see online is what you get and that she is open-minded.
She said, “I’ve definitely been sharing more [about our relationship] with the podcast just because I’m talking in longer-form content.”
She went on to say, “I’m still learning what those boundaries are going to be for me, so I’m still testing the waters with that so far, but I always say I’m pretty much an open book. What you see is online, and it’s what you’re going to get.”
She continued to talk about her relationship with Berrios throughout the interview, focusing in particular on their most recent romantic trip to the Bahamas.
Berrios appeared in 11 of the 14 TikToks she shared online, which were of their vacation. She gives Berrios credit for being understanding and encouraging, even though it takes time for her to manage her personal and professional lives.
She narrated, “He has been super supportive, and I know this world can be very different in terms of what I’m doing for work and it does take patience at times, but he gets it and he supports it; he always gives me time. I’m on my phone editing stuff, and he’s like, ‘I know you’re doing that right now. Take your time. You’re working.’”
Will Alix Earle's family participate in reality TV shows?
It was previously believed that Earle and her family—which includes her stepmother and three half-siblings—were hoping to get a reality TV show. As her family still gets used to her new way of life in New Jersey, Earle made it clear that this was never the case.
She asserted, “My family’s in New Jersey, and they’re still getting accustomed to what I’m doing, so I think that would be a lot to throw them all into that. But I am not opposed to maybe doing reality TV at some point.”
Hot Mess' creator also talked about being her boss and having control over her narrative. She stated that she constantly thinks about evolving the brand and pursuing a business.
“I’m constantly thinking about ways to evolve the brand, what I can do next. I was literally on vacation and woke up in the middle of the night, like I have a business idea. Braxton was like, Go to bed,” she said.
