LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Alyssa Farah Griffin has made a political switch after the co-host of ‘The View’ revealed that she voted for Kamala Harris.

The former Trump staffer, during the show, explained her decision to change sides.“Four years ago today, I was in the White House with Donald Trump on election night,” Griffin said.

“I believed he deserved to lose that night, at that point. I thought he hadn’t fought to win the election, but I thought the next four years would be the Republican party rebuilding and becoming something I could believe in and turning the page on Donald Trump, and it didn’t do that. So, this weekend, on Saturday, for the first time in my life, I voted for a Democrat,” she admitted.

The TV personality also added that she still remains a Republican despite voting against the party. “I worry the direction that Donald Trump will take this country, and I take my own warning seriously.I need someone who is a kind and decent person who will bring this country together. I don’t agree with a lot of her policies and we can criticize that down the road, but today is about the best thing for the future and the future of the country is that Donald Trump will lose and Kamala Harris is elected,” she said.

Internet reacts as Alyssa Farah Griffin's votes for Kamala Harris

Netizens shared their thougths on Alyssa Farah Griffin going anti-Trump during the presidential election.

One user slammed Griffin on X, "Fool. You’re not a Republican; you pretend to be one to get paid."

"Trump is gonna run for only 1 term..why yall so afraid? He was president once....nothing bad happened...this is all fear mongering," another opined.

An individual shared, "She could have voted for Trump and started her own podcast on YouTube, instead she sold her soul to the DiddyWood, and no one will remember her name."

"Good for Alyssa! This was a great answer! A lot of times people don’t think about the order of importance of things. You have to triage what’s most important to you. Her reasoning makes perfect sense," one felt.

Another made a sarcastic remark, "I have no actual principles and just want to be in the popular girl club for tv ratings so I support whatever is necessary to stay in said club."

"That's what she's telling those cows on the stage with her. I'm betting she voted for Trump," another speculated.
