LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Alyssa Milano was mocked online after she recently deactivated her X (formerly Twitter) account amid her ongoing feud with the social media platform's owner Elon Musk.

The 'Charmed' actress has been at odds with the tech mogul for years and even criticized his $44 million acquisition of Twitter in 2022. At the time, she said, as per Auto Evolution, "You buy Twitter to destroy it…Imagine if he donated that money to UNICEF. He would change the world. There would be no hunger!"

Elon Musk took a dig at Alyssa Milano after she said she sold her Tesla and bought a Volkswagen

Alyssa Milano, a longtime supporter of the Democratic Party, supposedly "gave back" her Tesla and bought a Volkswagen car after Elon Musk acquired X, as reported by Fox News.

In a November 2022 post on X, she wrote, "I gave back my Tesla. I bought the VW ev. I love it. I’m not sure how advertisers can buy space on Twitter. Publicly traded company’s products being pushed in alignment with hate and white supremacy doesn’t seem to be a winning business model."

She was at the time thrashed by many conservative political commentators, with The Hodgetwins commenting, "Volkswagen was literally founded by the Nazi’s and Hitler."

Political strategist Pete D’Abrosca tweeted "Wait till you learn who founded Volkswagen!"

Musk also did not miss the chance to poke fun at her and replied, "🤣💯."

During an appearance on 'The View', Milano vowed she wouldn't leave X, saying, "We can’t cede that territory. It’s like a turf war now. That’s how I look at it, and we can’t — I can’t." However, she seemed to have backtracked on the assertion.

While Milano's personal account, @alyssa_milano, currently leads to a page that says "account doesn’t exist," the account for her podcast, 'Sorry Not Sorry', tells listeners to follow them on Bluesky.

Netizens call Alyssa Milano's exit from X their 'favorite'

Now that Alyssa Milano has backtracked from her previous pledge, many mocked her on X (formerly Twitter).

One said, "Celebrity leftists are rich in wealth and poor in intelligence," and another remarked, "Another example or why entertainers should stick to entertaining. Alyssa Milano rips on Elon Musk, yet has no idea who started Volkswagen, and where the labor came from. She deleted her X account after that tweet."

"Liberals are fleeing x because they have terrible ideas that get torn to shreds as soon as they mention them. They can only exist in an echo chamber of mindless lemmings cheering them on as freedom fighters... while they build us all a prison," expressed a person.

An individual wrote, "She just realized the majority of the country thinks she is full of s**t. The world of X is better today without her," with one more commenting, "This is my favorite exit of them all so far. Absolutely incredible."

"Miss self important Milano - will not be missed by anyone! lol after 2 seconds of listening to her you reach for the switch the channel button!" added another person.

"This is great... X is pruning itself of the toxicity with no effort. This means more revenue to the X bottom line without accounts like hers leaching," pointed out one more.
