LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Following rumors about her "new look," Amanda Bynes has clarified that she had cosmetic surgery.

The 37-year-old celebrity just debuted her brand-new podcast, named 'Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast', co-hosted by biochemist Paul Sieminski, as reported by Lad Bible.

The podcast is the first significant endeavor Bynes has worked on since her conservatorship ended last year.

"At first we are going to interview our friends and then we’re hoping to take it mainstream and interview celebrities and artists," she teased about her project last month.

Bynes says 'nobody cares anymore if people have face tattoos'

Bynes, who has a heart tattoo on her face, stated in the first episode featuring tattoo artist Dahlia Moth that "nobody cares anymore if people have face tattoos. It shouldn’t matter.”

The 'She's the Man' actress used her TikTok account shortly after the podcast to address a "couple of stories online that say [she has] a new look."

In the video, Bynes acknowledged that she had undergone surgery on her eyelids in the past and insisted that she had no regrets, calling the procedure "one of the greatest things" she had ever done.

She said, "I was never open about this before, but I actually had blepharoplasty surgery on the skin folds in the corners of my eyes."

Byness says, 'I don’t have those skin folds anymore'

She added, "I don’t have those skin folds anymore — it was one of the best things I could have ever done for my self-confidence and it made me feel a lot better in my skin.

She continued, "So I just wanted to post about that just to clear up that rumour as to why I have a new look. I feel a lot better now about myself, and I’m so glad I had the blepharoplasty surgery. It was one of the greatest things I could’ve ever done."

In a subsequent video, she stated that paparazzi photographs of her 'didn't look good' owing to poor lighting.

She explained, "I also wanted to post a video explaining that I don't usually look good in paparazzi pictures and that's because paparazzi pictures are taken outside and the sunlight is usually really harsh and bright on my skin, even though I'm only 37 and I don't even look old.

"Also, I have scars on the right side of my face, you can't really tell if you don't see it in a certain bright light. I'm going to take you outside to show you how terrible I can look in a certain light. I'm sure people have seen from me in movies and me in paparazzi pictures."

She added, "So that is the secret to how I look good, I tend to find the best light."

Fans react on Bynes transformation

However, netizens gave mixed reactions after Bynes revealed that she had cosmetic surgery. One of the user penned, "Instead of being tolerant and normal and wishing her well in her endeavors ur coming for her appearance like wtf did amanda bynes ever do to ur grumpy ass."

Another user chimed, "Amanda bynes was that girl wat happened she just disappeared."
