Amber Heard’s birthday brought back memories of an alleged incident

Reportedly, Heard has been residing quietly in Spain following her legal dispute with her ex-husband Johnny Depp in 2022.

Her birthday also coincided with the eighth anniversary of an alleged incident that was even brought up during her highly publicized defamation trial with Depp in the US, TMZ reported.

Heard and the ‘Edward Scissorhands’ star were together when she turned 30th.

However, Depp was unable to attend and later received a call from his maid informing him that feces had been discovered on the bed of his Downtown LA loft.

The 60-year-old actor presumed that it was Heard's doing, despite her insistence that it was their pet.

Among various issues, the feces incident was also discussed in court.

The trial verdict left Amber Heard ‘disappoint[ed]’

In the end, Depp emerged victorious in the trial, leaving the 'Aquaman' actress feeling disheartened.

She then issued a statement, saying, “The disappointment I feel today is beyond words. I'm heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence, and sway of my ex-husband.”

Heard further commented, "It sets us back to a time when a woman who spoke up could be publicly shamed and humiliated."

“It sets back the idea that violence against women should be taken seriously. I believe Johnny's attorneys succeeded in getting the jury to overlook the key issue of Freedom of Speech and ignore evidence that was so conclusive that we won in the UK I am sad I lost this case.”

“But I am sadder that I seem to have lost a right I thought I had as an American – to speak freely and openly,” she added at the time.
