Amber Rose says ex-Kanye West forced her to 'dress very sexy' despite her 'conservative' style
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Amber Rose is opening up about how she was turned into a “sexpot type of girl” during her relationship with Kanye West, 46.
The 40-year-old model recently held the ‘Heartless’ rapper responsible for her provocative dressing during her initial years in the spotlight.
During an appearance on the Thursday, March 28 episode of ‘Just B with Bethenny Frankel’, Rose shared that the ‘Donda’ rapper pushed her to dress appealingly though she has always identified herself as “conservative.”

During the interview, Rose shared that her relationship with West was her first celebrity relationship when they started dating in 2008.
She shared with Frankel, “I am conservative actually,” before adding, “I have always been conservative since I was young," per Page Six.
However, she added that she was transformed into “this sexpot type of girl” when she came under the spotlight during her relationship with the Yeezy founder.
She continued, “That was my first relationship with a celebrity ever but also in the public eye,” and noted, “And he knows a lot about fashion and he always wanted me to dress very sexy.”
The model explained that since she was “young” and impressionable, she went with that image despite knowing that it did not represent her true self.
She further admitted that the image stuck with her even after their breakup in 2010. Rose said that her “sexy” image remained glued to her, and as a result, she felt “pigeonholed” into one category.
“So when I was out on my own — without my first relationship that kind of brought me to the light — that’s what they wanted from me,” shared Rose.
She even felt resistance whenever she tried “to go against the grain.”
The model recalled, “I would have producers saying, we want to do this video for MTV and we want you at the pool, with a bikini on, martini in your hand.”
She shared that she used to think that image was “so not her,” and added, “And I’m like, ugh, I’m so not her. Like I’m so not her and I get what I come off as but I am so not her.”
She continued, “And they’re like, ‘Well I guess you don’t want to do it then.'”
Rose also admitted that she “cringes” whenever she sees her pictures from the earlier years of her career, and said, “It was like I remember fighting so hard to not be that person and no one would let me.”
This is not the first time West is alleged to be responsible for the provocative dressing of his partners.
In the last few months, West has often come under fire for parading his near-naked wife in public.
The ‘Runaway’ singer is often photographed with his new wife Bianca Censori where the 29-year-old former Yeezy architect is seen in daring dresses. Her outrageous outfits often consist of sheer bodysuits, leggings, and tops.
It has also been reported that Censori's father wants to "sit down" with the rapper to talk about the former Yeezy architect's racy outfits.

A source close to the Kardashian family shared with Daily Mail that West's ex-wife Kim Kardashian finds it odd that the 'Jesus Is King' rapper is dressing his new wife in barely-there attires.
The source shared, "What Kim does find slightly odd is that the whole time she was with Kanye, he was all about her covering up. He wanted her to not show any skin and tone down her s*x appeal."
They continued, "Kanye is now doing the opposite for Bianca, and he wants her to wear nothing and ramp up her s*x appeal."
