EAST BURNSWICK, NEW JERSEY: Jax had no idea that her 2025 bingo card would include a conspiracy theory about her pregnancy belly being "fake".

The 'American Idol' alum, who stole hearts back in Season 14, has been basking in the joy of expecting her first child with husband Brave Gregg.

But apparently, not everyone is convinced that the growing bump is real.

Jax shuts down 'fake' pregnancy accusations with humor

Jax took to her Instagram on January 29, Wednesday, to call out the bizarre speculation by sharing a screenshot of comments doubting her pregnancy.

Reportedly, one such comment read, “It’s a fake belly help ToT”, while another troll remarked, “If you look closely you can tell it’s fake.”

In response, she clapped back in classic Jax humor, writing, “People saying my pregnant belly is fake was not on my 2025 bingo card 😂,” in a text overlay.

To set the record straight—and have a little fun—Jax followed up with a video on Instagram Stories featuring her husband.

In the clip, Gregg lovingly rests his head on her belly, addressing their unborn daughter with mock concern.

“A lot of people on the internet think that you’re living in a fake belly,” he tells the baby bump, while Jax giggles in the background.

“I know they’re idiots. I know you’re real, though," Gregg added.

Jax chimed in to back him up, declaring, “You are real.”

And just in case anyone still doubted it, she added, “She kicked today. I saw it.”

Gregg agreed, acknowledging, “That was a pretty good kick.”

He then playfully pleaded with their little one, “Go easy on your mom. Don’t hurt her bladder or kidneys.”

Jax and Brave Gregg open up about pregnancy journey after multiple miscarriages

Jax and Brave Gregg first shared their pregnancy news in October 2024, revealing the journey hadn’t been easy—they had suffered multiple miscarriages earlier that year, per People.

“To all the mothers who have experienced loss in their pregnancy journey, your pain is valid,” Jax captioned the Instagram post.

“Your resilience is nothing short of a miracle. You are not alone. You are seen and loved. God’s plan is so complex.”
