NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley joined co-host Steve Doocy to talk about the Russian program of putting nuclear weapons in space on the February 19 episode of 'Fox & Friends.'

The concern was first raised by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner, who earlier shared that even though he was initially worried about "the administration sleepwalking into an international crisis, it looks like now they are going to be able to take action."

Nikki Haley emphasizes disclosing major threats to the public

Haley commended Turner for raising awareness about the potential threat posed by Russia to the United States. She emphasized that the American people deserved to be informed about such matters, and not disclosing them should be viewed as problematic.

"These blinding satellites are no soft matter," she explained. "This is the fact that the White House can come out and say, well nothing is going to happen to Earth, but guess what's going to happen in space? This is (Russia's) ability to blind us from seeing any missiles coming in, (and) take out our infrastructure."

"There are so many things that Russians can do, so I applaud Chairman Turner. Keep it loud, keep saying this," was her message. "Because it is not just Russia doing this. Look at the cyber attacks that China is doing. There is a lot happening around the world and the American people deserve to know every bit of it."

Nikki Haley slams Donald Trump over his position on Russia

Responding to Doocy's question on whether she and the former President were on the same page about the Russian threat, Haley exclaimed, "Not at all," and called Trump "weak in the knees" when it comes to Vladimir Putin.

She went on to highlight the fact that Trump has been silent on the death of Putin's political opponent, Alexei Navalny, while in Russian prison, and also on the subject of seizing Russian assets to support Ukraine.

"He doesn't talk about anything," complained the former Governor of South Carolina. "All he does is go on late-night rants talking about his court cases. That is the problem. We have Russia sitting there doing things that are now surrounding the Baltics. If they go and invade the Baltics - those are NATO countries - that puts America at war. We have to prevent war."

"We got China doing these cyber attacks," she continued. "We are seeing all these things happen Trump's doing late-night rants about his court cases? He's going to be in court for the rest of the year. We can't be distracted ... If Donald Trump is the nominee, he can't win."

She added that the United States had to take note of real issues such as the economy and border security, and not the "personal grievances" of Trump at the moment.
